COBS Bread — Restaurant in Oshawa

I never leave reviews even when the experience was bad, however I need to leave one today because I was not happy with the customer service experience at @cobsbreadnorthoshawa today. It was my first time visiting Cobs bread and unfortunately we had a poor and unprofessional customer service experience with Jeremy at the front line. We had a few very simple questions about the breads since it was our first time there, however we did not feel like he was receptive to those questions but rather condescending instead. He spoke to us with attitude, he was impatient with us, and he rolled his eyes at us. It was not a very welcoming experience. Hopefully he can be coached back on this so that he can continue to grow his customer service skills, because they truly do have a huge impact on whether or not people will return.

Hi Sheri, it seems like I cannot respond to your reply so I will respond here instead. Google reviews is a comfortable space to leave constructive feedback and experiences. It also allows future customers to get a glimpse of the establishment, which is integral. I did not feel comfortable with my interaction in the store and therefore would not have felt comfortable calling in to share this feedback. In addition to this, your response is giving me the impression that you do not believe what it is I'm saying and are more concerned with checking in on Jeremy, which further supports my stance of not calling. I am sure he did not intend to come off this way but nonetheless he did (Intent vs. Impact is very important to remember). At dislocation I got the pumpkin pie Danish and the cheddar Pull-A-Part.

No matter which location I go to the Sweet baked goods are always very boring to me. I'm not sure what everyone is always raving about. The crust is hard and not flaky and soft and sweet like I would expect of a sweet baked good. I've tried many sweet baked goods from them over the years from different locations and every time I'm just disappointed. It was very meh and I wouldn't get it again.

The cheddar pull apart is good however at this location it was burnt on the outside. I thought it had look darker than normal but I didn't give it much thought until I got home. The bread was still good but not as good as it could have been.
