HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! *Sorry for the long post but this is just not acceptable!!!
My husband and I are unbelievably shocked and upset with our most recent experience at the Simcoe St North location!! We were treated with such utter disrespect and unprofessionalism when we visited on Saturday May 16th, 2021 at approx 4:45pm. I just had an emergency c-section 4 days ago so I asked my husband to go through drive thru and pick up our usual order (we order at least 6-8 times per month). He physically brought coupon code 13 (12 pc Variety bucket which includes 6 pcs of chicken, 6 tenders, LG fries, and 2 individual sides and gravies). We also added a $10 share bucket with half tenders & half popcorn chicken. Our 3 kids and I only eat the tenders and popcorn chickens. When ordering my husband was immediately cut off once he said " I have coupon code 13 for a 12 pc Variety bucket"..he could barely get the "variety bucket" out. When he pulled up to the window he tried to show/hand the coupon to the man but he didn't even look at it and he just told my husband to "keep it for another day". The coupon clearly showed a 12 pc VARIETY bucket. When my husband arrived home we checked our order and we had received 12 pcs of chicken (smallest pcs ever at that - only one breast) and none of the tenders that were supposed to come in the variety bucket. They forgot the coleslaw as well and only gave us one corn. Lastly, he had asked for plum sauce and ranch sauce and neither were in the bag at all! On top of that, they never gave us the receipt! Since my kids and I only eat the tenders and popcorn chickens, the 4 tenders in the $10 1/2 & 1/2 bucket obviously wasn't enough for 3 kids and an adult. So I called the Simcoe St N location to tell them they gave us the wrong order and that they were missing our coleslaw and dipping sauces. I was on the phone for over 10 minutes with a lady (most of it I was put on hold so she could discuss it with her team). I could hear them talking in the background saying that my husband and I were "lying" and that they gave us the proper order. The man at the window said my husband gave him a coupon for 12 pcs of chicken only and there was no variety bucket coupon which is a complete lie (perhaps trying to avoid that he made a mistake and didn't even look at the coupon). I explained what we ordered and that we did not receive what we ordered plus items were missing. The lady proceeded to argue with me, patronize me, and talk over me so I asked to speak to the manager. She indicated that she was the manager! She said that they were not going to do anything for using, not even give us our missing coleslaw! I tried to tell her that I was upset and she literally hung up on me!!! I couldn't believe it! We visit this location at least 6-8 times per month and spend $40-$70 each visit and this is the way we are treated! I was so shocked! My husband and I had to go visit our premature son in the NICU at the hospital or we would've physically gone into the store to discuss this further. Read moreOrdered for delivery today. Never came, tried to call… no answer. Call the general KFC number and they kept transferring me to the store… that is not answering…. Drive down to the store (which I shouldn’t have to do considering I ordered for delivery) walked into the store following a family, no one else in the store, waiting for the family to order (they were there first) as I’m waiting for them to order some people come in and stand off to the side. Family finishes ordering and the girl behind the counter ignores me and goes to get one of the people who came in after me… I let it go and wait. Then she goes to speak to another person who came in after.. no. I spoke up, she says they are from online ordering… I said so am I, I ordered delivery and didn’t get it and you aren’t answering the phone so here I am. She says ohhh your from online pick up……… No I ordered delivery and didn’t get it! I had to repeat this 3 times. Then a man comes out and I tell him and he finds the order in the orders waiting for skip/Uber. This is 2 hours after the order was placed it’s sitting there, he said they don’t have their own drivers and the Uber driver didn’t come back for it…. Again this is 2 hours later, how do you not follow up with this within minutes???? He says I’ll get you fresh food.. obviously he would have to also made them pay me back for the delivery fee and he offered a free 2L. Read moreWe decided to go to KFC for the first time since before C-19 and see if they had improved since the last time we visited, which had not been memorable. We were greeted by a young man who didn't seem to understand anything we were asking, so much to the point that I had to ask FIVE times what the available sides were, because I couldn't see what I was looking for anywhere on the menu which had images large enough to see from outside but print you had to lean over the counter to read. I finally worked out an answer and placed our order, which cost approximately $55 and we moved over to get our drinks and let other people order. We could hear the manager yelling about how much chicken to put down which told me that they weren't very organized. Almost ten minutes after waiting, the man at the front told me we would have to wait another twelve minutes for the chicken! I was blown away! We were there waiting for thirty minutes and I was just about finished by the time we got out. The corn my mother ordered smelled horrible and tasted just as bad, one of my drumsticks was almost entirely bone, and fries were soft and rather floppy, and the Famous Chicken Burger my fiance ordered was the size of a chicken slider.
