My family and I enjoy the bakers table good quality veal sandwiches and desserts.
The staff are great and friendly except ONE. There are no name tags on the employees so I cannot name the individual.
I will provide a description, older/elderly woman, thin build and very poor teeth/hygiene. You will easily identify her by her poor/rotten teeth. Furthermore, she is very rude to customers and today I observed her talking down to a younger employee.(cashier) In addition her food handling skills are very poor and made possibly the worst veal sandwich my family has had up to date.
I will not paint the business with a negative review. BUT one employee should definitely be removed or not be customer facing because they are simply miserable.
Last weekend my family's veal sandwiches were filled with mushrooms/peppers and sauce. Made professionally and it was filling. One the best sandwiches I have had.
Today I have 2 mushroom and sliver of pepper on my sandwich by the elderly female I described above.
Your business has great reputation do not allow one disgruntled staff ruin it by there lack of customers service and not making food to satisfy the customer. Like I mentioned prior last week the veal sandwiches made by a delightful lady were absolutely amazing.
This week that miserable employee total botched these sandwiches.

Read moreSitting in the parking lot of Bakers Table as I just exited the establishment and had to write this. The pastries here are delicious, I've given my business to The Bakers Table for years. However, the customer service from one person is less than par. The 20 something girl with the facial piercings is extremely rude. I come here every May for a cake for my mother's birthday and when I did last year,(and previous years by the way), I asked for the cake I wanted and as she was retrieving it from the display, I asked for something to be written on it and she rudely says "Ya I know, I'm just getting it first". This is not the first time this has happened as I said. So today when I asked for the cake, I did not ask right away, I waited to BE asked. As she was about to place the cake in the box, she asks if I want anything else so I said what I wanted written on it and she rolls her eyes and sighs as if asking for something to be written on a birthday cake is an unimaginable ask. I know nothing will be done about this, and this probably won't even get read but this girl needs an attitude check. Learn how to speak to your customers; asking for something preemptively is not a crime and if it upsets you that much, you shouldn't work in customer service. Also....$35 dollars for a small cake is...
Read moreHad 2 terrible experiences in the last month at bakers table. -ordered a large dessert platter to be delivered to a large family function and it was not delivered at all. Got a refund. The owner said he'd make it right, so we gave them another chance and ordered another dessert tray for our next big family function. The owner was very rude to my mother who was picking the order up, she was not allowed to pick up her order even though it was preordered and the staff knew she needed to pick up for a special event. She called the night before to confirm she would be able to pick up as quickly as possible having prearranged the order. they made her wait in line outside of the building which was lengthy and would have made her late for a function she was hosting. While speaking to my mother, the owner got very rude and said "you Italian people " absolutely appalled by this remark and the lack of clarity in direction to customers picking up orders. No luck with delivery or pick up. I'll drive to toronto to get better quality Italian foods and desserts as...
