Wendy's — Restaurant in Oshawa

Something wrong with the staff. No one cares enough to move faster than a turtle. Let alone put in enough effort to remember a complete order. When i first arived i watched what looked like the manager have a casual conversation with whomever was ordering at the cashier for what felt like way to long. Like wrap it up, kindof unprofessional, only because they were talking for a while. And I watch a man order and a different cashier simply didnt enter in 1/3 of his order. He had to get back in line to re order his last item. Then i watched while the staff played broken telephone trying to refill the gravey. 3 employees, 1 at a time, whithin the 15ish minutes, tried to get some gravey, each one then having to go hunt down and report that to the manager, each time another poutine getting put to the side. All this while I ate my value chicken wrap waiting for my small lemonade.... I waited basically 10 minutes for someone to realize that there was a simple drink order to complete, but thats not what happened. While some staff stood doing literally nothing for 30 seconds, sometimes i siezed the opportunity to remind them all i was waiting for was a small lemonade. They nodded at me and continued to do nothing, as if the gravey crisis was using up all their brain power. Not trying to be mean, like honestly these employees look mentally exhausted. So eventually, one employee made what looked like a large lemonade that was a mistake, putting it down along the sidelines. Was it mine? Well if it was they didnt try to make another lemonade after that, so it couldnt have been... This employe then moves on to work on something else. Eventually i just asked for the spare drink that had been sitting there, because i hadn't been so lucky when i asked for something that hadn't been made yet. I grabbed some takeout for a quick meal at home so we didn't have to take too much time away from our Christmas decorating. Usually Wendy's is good eating but this to was a disappointment. The wife's Apple Pecan salad was delicious and the mother in law's chilli was also good. My spicy chicken sandwich however was far less impressive than theirs. The chicken (let's just call it that) was unlike any chicken I've ever eaten in my life. It was dry, hard and chewy. Like maybe it got lost on the floor behind the fryer for a week before someone discovered it and served it to me. Seriously, the last time I had meat that bad was at a Chinese buffet that had one dish labelled as simply "grilled meat". I tried it as a lark and it was tough, dry and chewy but I would have preferred that over what Wendy's served me earlier this evening. Interestingly, if you go to the website for the Wendy's in North Oshawa to try to contact someone to discuss your less than stellar meal, the feedback link takes you to a US Wendy's site where you can't even select a Canadian franchise. After a very long wait in the drive thru (despite there only being one car ahead of me, as traffic backed up to the roadside behind me), I was triple charged for my order! The manager insisted that I had actually ordered 3x the amount that I had actually ordered and argued with me about this, then when I demanded that he correct the order, he gave me a very hard time when taking the wrong order back and correcting it. Manager then demanded that I leave the Drive Thru without first processing a refund to my card. Manager made me wait 10-15+ minutes in the parking lot, after which, he approached my vehicle and told me that I would need to come inside to process the refund. After processing the refund, there was a second charge placed on my account, rather than a refund. When I asked about this, the manager just told me to leave his restaurant and was extremely rude and unhelpful. Throughout this whole fiasco, my food had gone stale, my frosty melted, and they did not even give me the drink I had ordered with my combo. This place is a nightmare and horribly mismanaged.
