July 2021 - ordered breakfast, pick up. What a COLD mess. It appears as though no care was put into this order. Eggs (overcooked) were crushed by potatoes. Everything was overcooked and yet not even warm. It takes me 3 1/2 minutes to get home. $15 and change down the drain. SHAME on the kitchen staff working Sunday morning at this location.
Even though it says This Order Is Paid on the receipt stapled to the bag, they still questioned me if I had paid.
Sausages precooked, clearly, and burnt. And not even warm.
I cannot express enough how disappointed I am and I feel like this restaurant doesn’t care about their take out customers. Return date September 2017. Breakfast eggs were leathery, potatoes overcooked and bland. Peamale bacon was so dry. Too many flies in restaurant. Service was fine. Food was very disappointing. Changed to a 3 star. #localguide
It is a whole experience. Cora's takes breakfast to a whole new level. From the artistic presentation, generous portions, large variety to choose from - there is something for everyone. Children's menu is fantastic, and so are the prices. Whether you are alone or not, young or old, this establishment is spot on!! Service has always been efficient and...
Read moreThe food is alright but very overpriced. They offer fruit all year round and you can taste that it's been forced ripe. So not a huge fan of that. With the quality, I only find it okay. Definitely not worth the price they ask. 20+ dollars for pancakes is unreal. I know other places charge this too, but they are just plain buttermilk pancakes...not even very filling.
Be careful when you go here. Any sides or add ons are crazy expensive and we have had multiple people share our experience of being told it was fine to add something or substitute it with another thing, and we were not told that it would be considered a full additional side. I asked if I could switch something out (strawberries for bananas) and they said no problem at all. Got to the cash, and they charged me almost five extra dollars! For what, 10 strawberry slices maybe? I wanted to refuse to pay it but my guilt made me pay it anyway. Next time, I will try to stand my ground and say absolutely not. It was not told to me that there would be additional cost, plus that kind of additional cost is crazy. A buck or two maybe but...
Read moreThis review is intended as constructive criticism for the chefs. We visited today—four adults and one child. The hostess greeted us warmly, and a table became available within 15 minutes, which we found reasonable for a Saturday at brunch time. Our waitress was fantastic—very pleasant, professional, and accommodating. She promptly handled all our requests, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The crepe with berries, chocolate, and banana was extremely dry, with the crepe itself resembling a hard taco shell. We had to return it. The remoulade sauce on my Montreal smoked meat Benedict eggs had an unpleasant texture and taste that I can’t quite describe—I simply couldn’t eat it. After a few bites, I even felt nauseous. I had a similarly disappointing experience a few months ago but decided to give it another chance. Sadly, this visit confirmed my concerns. I hope the chef and management team will take this feedback as an opportunity to improve and address these issues. We truly enjoy Cora’s and hope to return to the quality experience we have known...
