Crispy's Resto Grill — Restaurant in Ottawa

This place is an absolute disgrace. Please take a look at the pictures first and you'll have an idea what this review is about.

Upon entering this place, we were swamped with a stench of cleaning products (and none of them good). We ordered a Philly CHEESEsteak and a Crispy Burger.

Take a look at the pictures again. The Philly CHEESEsteak has ZERO cheese and almost NO MEAT! It's full of lettuce and mayonnaise. That's it!!! It costs almost $13 and you get no meat inside! The picture on the menu board was completely different to what I was served. I took the pictures of my cheesesteak as soon as I sat in the car with the food. The 'crispy' burger was also a steaming heap of trash. There was no crunch and it was as flat as a flounder. Again, the pictures are there for you to see.

I returned to the counter and showed it to the guy who made my food. He saw it and said 'Oh... Maybe next time it will be better'.

Wait, what? You admit that it's not good, you refuse to fix it, and you expect me to visit again? Sorry, buddy- I'm going to make sure no one visits this scam of a grill.

Extremely disappointing food and service!

We ordered the Crispy chicken, Philly "cheese" steak sub and fries.

The Philly cheese steak came WITHOUT cheese, very little steak and huge amounts of mayo and salad. The crispy chicken burger was an extremely thin piece of chicken , no flavor , sandwiched between lots of mayo and lettuce and tomato. The fries were frozen fries that had just been fried.

This is not what we expected or paid for ! Huge disappointment. A complete rip off ! Save your money and go elsewhere. Popeyes and Mary Browns would be better than this place that provides such underrated food. We ordered off uber eats around 9PM, which may be the reason why it was terrible. We got two chicken burgers which were so obviously reheated in the microwave; lettuce and tomatoes that were both translucent, limp, and a little slimy. The bun was a little soggy, which is to be expected with delivery. The fries are frozen (not fresh cut), and tasted like they were heated up in the microwave. Regular cheese curds and beef gravy, but definitely not worth the upcharges. We had a lot of hope as the pictures of the food looked awesome and good reviews for the most part.
