After finding Crispy's in university, I have yet to experience any other fried chicken location that can be compared to their quality. The poutine has also been the best poutine I have had out of any poutine or fry-specific establishment.

Former Review: I had placed an order today around 11:30AM-12:00PM for it to be picked up at 6:05PM / 18:05.
The order, receipts and everything went through just fine. I was working and had my partner try and pick it up, but she was rudely disrespected by the older individual stating that the order time was wrong. Despite it showing up for her on his tablet with the exact same as what the receipt (picture) showed, but because he was angry and a couple people probably misread/misunderstood the order time, he told her it would take two hours (in italics on the tablet) to be made for 20:00 or 8:00PM, which I thought was quite silly.
When I went in myself after I finished (~18:40), I showed him the same receipt for the order, which he clearly deleted the order, because he never bothered to make it at all as it never showed back up on his tablet. I know the two hours wait was ridiculous cause the younger individual working the cash kept telling the last five customers that went in that all their orders would take 15 minutes (and none of my past orders ever took longer than half an hour pre-order or in-house).
When I also told him that my order was a 12-piece thigh combo, he kept claiming that it was just a 12-piece chicken chunk order, not a chicken thigh combo. I had ordered the same combo every so often for the past five-six years and never had an issue with the online order or with customer service. He repeatedly tried to tell me that the chicken chunk was about $45 with tax, which is the same as a chicken thigh combo ($45 with tax), but he would not listen to me. He then proceeded to tell me I ordered at the wrong location and it was my fault that it did not work. He looked on the register when he input it and kept trying to look around for the prices, which he was then clearly distraught trying to find an excuse for why the order did not work. I understand he had received at least two other online orders which they saw the orders on tablets.
After knowing that he told my partner that the wait time would be two hours, followed by him telling me it would only take him 13 minutes after struggling to turn the blame to me, I still struggle to understand why he treated her so poorly and rudely in the first place, compared to when I went in.
I am very disappointed that I have not seen the former staff members as I had never had any other issues or complications in the past six years. Even though the overall quality had gone down after the workers changed, the food was still okay (prices remained the same). However, considering the disrespect and poor customer service towards my partner and myself respectively, it seems the sexism from the staff may deter us from returning to the Woodroffe location...
Read moreWe thought the food was great but the online ordering experience was horrible. We wanted to place an order for delivery but it turns out we live too far away (Westboro?) - it was hard to tell what their delivery zone is.
So, fine, we wanted to try the place so we decided to place an order for pickup. I placed our order online but for some reason the site wouldn't accept my credit card even after typing in the details 3 times. That was pretty annoying but I chalked it up to the website and placed the order to be paid upon pickup. I was sent a confirmation email with a time for pickup.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I was a bit early but I went to go pay. The total for my bill was higher than the total in the confirmation email, and again they couldn't accept my credit card because of their system being down so I had to pay cash. It was a bit annoying to have to deal with all this, but our food wasn't ready when promised and I had to sit and wait for it to be cooked. Seemed very disorganized.
Fortunately the food was good when we did receive it. We had ordered a mixed combo with breast and thigh pieces. We both preferred the thigh pieces which were very tasty with the dipping sauces. The sauces were very small considering the size of the chicken pieces, we would consider ordered extra next time. The fries were so-so. Read moreI'm quite de-pressed lately as I have seen minor inconsistencies in service over a period of time. I've visited this place in many occasions over 5 years or so. It was never a bad experience even if it wasn't a good one at times. Overall expect the few minutes wait if you want fresh food and once it's out....ull forget the wait. I like the differentiated fries. I've been getting the double cheese burger which I never can finish easily. Skip the fries if u wanna finish the burger. I have tried other items like chicken pieces and subs like steak ....chicken....etc. it's always clean too except that too clean at times as the disinfectant extremely dominates the smell of the restaurant. Still this place is worth your money spent as it is a well worth junk food but good food for a wonderful experience.
