Farm Boy — Restaurant in Ottawa

I've had a car accident and broke my foot and ribs and messed my knee up and now I'm just starting to walk a little with a walker. I had been doing my groceries at places where they have a scooter but I love FB and wanted to try that today. I quickly scanned through the store but could no longer stand and was in much pain. I asked a wonderful young lady working there, if she could go stand in line and bag my stuff so I could go sit. She was very happy to help... At the end, I got up to go pay and she proudly walk to me with the receipt in her hand and she had already paid my order... She set me up with my soup and juice and I cried.... In contrast to the positive experiences I've had in other sections of Farm Boy, the lack of professionalism and customer service at the lunch meat counter was disappointing. I have been shopping at this store for the last ten years. The service quality has been declining steadily but surely over time. Today, we witnessed a new low level in this respect. The cashier basically decided not to bag the items for us (without asking us if we were OK bagging them ourselves), and was throwing them (not exaggerating) at our direction for us to bag. They had previously thrown our way the paper bags we asked for. When we brought this to their attention, their response was that they were trying to go fast. This store should better train their employees. We will not be there to see if there will be any improvements in the future as this was our last visit to this store. We will take ou business...
