Updated - app problematic but I have been gradually switching my fast food to A&W, Harvey's from McDonald, so now I only go for the ccassiomal coffee and maybe the rare mcGriddle. Havey's angus burger with my choice of toppings and A&W Teen burger are much better than Big Mac.
The app is one of Harvey's big issue since it is less functional than other chains and does not have a loyalty / reward functionality. When there is an issue such as my 1st instance where they defaulted to my preferr3d location on an order but I was 300 km away and all they can do was a gift card which I cannot use on app and I cannot use offers in restaurants. Another issue on app purchase and an in-store upgrade charge resolution with corporate by email was not the best. Store staff basic stance is they do not know the app and nothing they can do most of the time.
A recent issue that was for an app related special offer came to store from a message, and the customer service by a manager was excellent. We talked about the issues with the app and my ideas about potentially what caused the problem of me not able to order with the offer on the app. She thought the suggestions were good and will talk to regional to escalate it to resolve some of the app issues.
The app did not get enough testing, and there are gaps. Not sure if they do it in house or 3rd party developers, but corporate should do a better job on the app.
I really like adding cucumber, olives and other custom toppings to my burger and not a fan of some chains' nickle an. diming such as a slice of tomatoes costing 0.25. I have gotten 4 tomatoes and 4 cucumbers with other toppings so the toppings were as thick as the base abd burger so I appreciate the ability to customize my burger.
The restaurant sitting area is looking slightly tired but for me food is the most important thing. But patching up ripped banquette should not cost that much...
Read moreI ordered a crispy wrap combo with an Oreo shake through Uber Eats, but my order was delivered without the drink. I immediately called the driver, and he confirmed there was no drink in the bag when he picked it up. The food came in a separate bag sitting on an empty drink tray in the Harvey’s bag.
I then called the Harvey’s store, and the staff member claimed she packed the drink. But what I received was an empty drink tray with no signs that a milkshake had ever been there—no moisture, no residue, nothing. Just a big bag with the empty drink tray and my food. If a milkshake had actually been packed, there would’ve at least been some evidence of it.
Instead of acknowledging the situation or offering a solution, she told me to “just get a refund,” and her tone came off as sassy and unprofessional. I wasn’t looking to argue—just some accountability or even basic understanding. Really...
Read moreHello, I am a regular eater at the location I mentioned above, Today I ordered 1 Crispy chicken burger, 1 Jr Crispy, large fries and a regular Skore shake. I know that because of mask it’s hard to hear on both ends as while ordering. I noticed that I was being served a Junior burger rather than a junior crispy I requested to change it as I ordered the chicken burger. The girl who was working changed the patty from the bun and gave me the same bun with junior crispy chicken in it. I am a Hindu religion follower and couldn’t tolerate that happening in front of my eyes I asked about it and she got furious by saying that “I will change the burger patty and not the bun” it is painful for me too write this as I will never return to the location. It is potentially threatening and interfering to my religion what I worship. The services are awful gave me cold...
