Hey Kitchen, glad finding you in Ottawa Chinatown! This restaurant offers a happy medium between hot plates, noodles & omurice. It’s more interesting than typical Chinese food fare without venturing too far from the cuisine.

Chicken Cutlet Omurice with Spicy Curry Sauce came was topped by a heap of fried chicken cutlet strips in Asian seasoning. The soft omurice was wrapped in a thin layer of fried egg. The strong curry sauce was spicy as advertised, which made for a nice complement to the light egg & rice combination.

Special Teppan Pepper Pasta was on the menu with a wide variety of options. We ordered it with Smoked Chicken in a Cream Sauce similar to carbonara. Chicken pieces with skin were tender & flavourful in the heavy sauce. A side of okra in garlic & vinegar sauce was a helpful contrast for this hot plate pasta.

Had an absolutely delicious bowl of noodles with well marinated pork ribs and partner had a different noodle dish she also was impressed with. Each would earn 5 stars, but the other order, a bowl of mushroom and duck soup I placed, was nowhere near as tasty and the choice to include many pieces of very bony duck did not make the soup better. It's broth was bland and the mushrooms in it ranged from too fibrous to not well prepared for a soup (too long to eat with a spoon in one bite, but too fibrous to chew through).

Atmosphere was pleasant, warm, and clean. Marked down atmosphere for the menu just being so riddled with typos or clear translation errors as to make it not as usable as would be preferable.

Service was polite. We needed to seek the waiter's attention to get the bill even after being done eating for several minutes and with a not particularly busy crowd. "Thank you's" were also met with zero eye contact or verbal response, which makes it hard to give a perfect...

This is my favourite resturant of all time! Me and my friends love this spot because of the affordable pricing, big portions, and the incredible staff that makes me come back to this place everytime. There are many booth seats next to windows that are comfortable and spacious. I recently brought my family to try this place and they were so sweet! They even gave us free complimentary chip bags at the end of our meal.

The omurice was phenomenal! I've tried the chicken curry omurice, the pork, and the steak omurice. All have been fantastic! Notably the steak omurice as the steak was so buttery soft and melts into your mouth.

The pepper rice is my favourite as well! Its super flavorful and super filling! I recommend the beef slice and the salmon pepper rice the most.
