Came back again August 30: Again a 5 star experience! Incredible service, incredible food, just amazing!
Ordered take out Feb 4: incredible!!!
Came back April 31: it makes me so sad to have to change the number of stars on my review. For a number of reasons.
The service tonight was not something I had ever experienced there. Sadly. They were always consistent in their service. I simply asked the waitress tonight that everytime we’ve come so far (a total of 6x in the last 10 months) we would get little side dishes with the Dakgalbi which is what my husband always orders. And she said no that they never did that. And we said yes. Again she didn’t believe us but said she would bring them to us anyway. When she returned with them, she showed herself irritated. And normally someone always comes to ask how we’re liking the meal and if we’d like a refill on the sides (kimchi, cabbage, etc), but they never came tonight. The food was again excellent. Normally my husband’s dakgalbi come on a hot cast iron, but this evening it didn’t. He said quality was still good but prefers when it’s sizzling hot.
The owner is always so kind and accommodating.
We’ll come back because I love their food. But I hope it was just an off...
Read moreThe food here was very hearty, simple yet delicious. I honestly loved the service provided by everyone, they checked on us, made sure to give us every detail and helped us by providing us with seasonings for the soup. We tried Seleongtang and Bulgogi from the dinner menu. Everything on the dinner menu is priced at $22 and includes a drink - your regular pops and sparkling water. I wish, they provided hot tea or something instead but that I learned is extra, same with water - bottled only. But my only suggestion and tip for improvement would be the way they have fixed the lunch or dinner sets. I would love to order alacarte instead of having to compromise and pick just one set. They don’t have bibimbap for dinner either sadly. The sides were tasty, loved the wild rice but again I just hope I had a bit more flexibility for the amount that I paid. Don’t expect everything to be traditional, there are a few fusion dishes like the one with fries but again the taste was pretty good. They warned us that the Seleongtang would be very bland but with some salt and pepper, it was amazing and perfect for the cold weather - I recommend it. We went right before closing so they had a lot of open seats but I could see it filling up fast during peak hours. They do...
Read moreI have to say, I was blown away with the experience at this restaurant. It started off with kind, hospitable, and quality service. Based on my impression, it seemed like the staff here have big hearts for the community and for the food they serve.
The cashier helped me with a menu and I ordered the Bibimbap Lunch Box. I waited about three minutes (and the place was decently busy around 1 pm) before the staff member brought my food to the table.
They served delicious rice with kimchi, pickled veggies, beef and an egg on top. They also had included a sweet and spicy chilli sauce. Every single element of the dish was thoughtfully made and placed, and it was absolutely phenomenal.
Lately when I eat out, especially with prices going up, I’ve become somewhat of a tough critic and prefer to eat at home. But after my experience at In’s Kitchen, I will definitely be going back.
Put simply, it was the best meal I’ve...
