So we enjoyed the food and the restaurant was nice. The bartender we assume was brand new to the restaurant industry. We saw her pour wine without letting the customer taste it first when she presented another customer a full bottle. Then when we went to pay we have a gift card and let her know we were paying with a gift card and gave her cash for the tip. We thought it was odd when she went to ask a server about what we assume was how to process the gift card but then put the cash in the till and came back and took the cash amount off the bill then process the rest of the bill with the gift card. Then hand us back the remaining balance on the gift card. So now we have a portion of a gift card and she took the cash and didn’t account for her tip?? When leaving I went up to the server she had spoken to to let him know what she had done wrong ( she ended up with the tip on a left over gift card instead of processing the entire bill on the gift card then keeping the cash as her tip. Now she has a gift card leftover balance as her tip. If she ever figures this out?) when I slowly tried to explain it to him he then said “ thanks for the teaching moment” very condescending. We won’t be coming back with that attitude. I am also in the service industry and was just wanting to explain to him so he can then explain to the bartender what had happened. Read moreI go here often because I’m always satisfied however there will always be that one day where the cook is having a bad day or it’s not the usual cook your used to! Because there was only one time I went and everything I ordered was either burnt or way to salty…However the lady cook with dreads I need her schedule the bartender who looks like a ken doll I need his schedule because cook can cook and the mister sir knows how to make a Long Island no shade to the other staff however I feel when it come to the bartenders most are on the sweet side rather than the drink being actually balanced and I’m not the type to send a drink back but the week of the liquor shortage I should’ve because I got played.. but it’s cool. What I will say if you enjoyed your drink pay attention to the bartender you liked your dinner complement the chef you’re server is giving you a vibe check ask for their names and let’s not forget them.

The food was perfect.
Even though it was super busy, the assistant manager Tegan & TWO servers, Angie and Madi, checked on us frequently to make sure we were getting what we needed. We really appreciated the smiles and light banter. We had fish tacos, chicken tacos & french fries. We all had desserts. They were incredibly huge, so I'd recommend sharing if you don't have a lot of room when you're done your meal. Everything was spot on.
It was expectedly busy on a saturday afternoon but we were so well taken care of by lots of staff, not just the ones previously mentioned.
I'd recommend this place to anyone and we are definitely going back to try More items from the menu & enjoy the service and atmosphere.
