Mac'd Out — Restaurant in Ottawa

Ordered a burger mac n cheese. I'm very happy with the serving size. The food is dense and tasty as expected. I personally liked the cheese blend, but I had a lot of flavours going on. Ordered a apple crumble for $9.00 and it was more like an apple soupy sloppy mess. It didn't even look appetizing. I didn't try it. My husband said it was very sweet and probably store bought. So that was annoying - I can order the same dessert at a restaurant for less and get a better quality portion than that. There was also the 25min delay on Skip the Dishes from the driver/app saying my order was picked up and on its way, to when it actually got to my door. I'm five minutes away from the restaurant. So either the food wasn't ready - which is my bet because it was still warm when I got it (which is a good thing), or the driver idled in front of the restaurant for 20min for no reason with my food. I didn't appreciate the wait. All in all, the very good quality of the actual mac and cheese was counter balanced by the gross dessert and the wait. Will order from them again, now knowing that their pocket is mac'n'cheese and best not to venture...

I ordered from Uber delivery. I tried several menu items loaded bacon mac, app sampler, deep fried cheesecake, bread pudding and two bite brownies. I was very happy with the sampler and could seriously eat a bucket of the pickle fries. The menu stated that it would include all appetizers but I did not get any fries - i really didn't care because there was a good serving of pickle fries. Just a bunch of deep fried yumminess with 4 dips to choose from. The cheesecake had more bread than cheesecake and would probably be better eaten right away but I did not enjoy it. The warm two bite brownies with chocolate sauce were just delicious. I haven't tried the bread pudding. I was excited to try the mac and cheese but was completely disappointed by it. The serving size was generous as were the toppings but the mac and cheese was tasteless almost as though it was made with plain bechamel. There was cheese but certainly not enough and the pasta itself may.be the problem. So...

My husband and I ordered from this place the other day and it was awful. I guess we expected a lot considering one tiny portion of macaroni and cheese was over 17 dollars. For that price you expect a lot of food or really good food.

This was neither a large portion, nor very good. The sauce was non existent both physically and taste wise. The most bland thing I've ever ordered from a restaurant. Avoid this place if you don't want to be ripped off or taste the most boring mac and...
