Milano Pizzeria Innes Rd — Restaurant in Ottawa

On Feb 14 2020 I placed an order through skip the dishes at your 3848 innes rd location. the order was delivered and the pizza was crushed onto one side. I dealt with skip the dishes for my refund and call the store to reorder my food and stated that I would pickup this order. The person on the phone told me that next time I should just use their drivers as they have had issues with skip the dishes before. When I went to pickup my order another employee(might be the store owner not sure) told me that it was not their fault for how my order was delivered and that I had to take ownership because it was my choice to use skip the dishes. I told him that it should not fall on to the customer to discover which of the delivery services that they provide is good is which isn't. He then told me that next time just use the store drivers and I won't have this problem.

I informed him that it shouldn't matter who I order from, whoever delivers your product is representing your company at that time and if you are having an issue with one of your contracted delivery services then stop using them. He told me that I should've not use them and it was my fault.

At no point did anyone apologizes for this issues or inconvenience.

I was not expecting to order to replace for free or anything but to be told that it's my fault and not to ever receive any apology is outrageous and tells that this location cares very little for their customer or their product.

I almost gave up on Milano Pizza.

We've been customers of the one around our corner for over 5 years. But with each passing year the pizza's got smaller and more expensive. I reached my breaking point.

But I decided to try a different location, a little further away and boy am I glad I did.

Right away, from the way they answered the phone and treated me, to the absolutely fantastic pizza we enjoy it as a family, they have won me over as a new customer.

Hassan (Sam) was incredibly friendly, super helpful and tried to give us a whole bunch of free things just to thank us for trying them out. Talk about incredible customer service.

So the service is great. The food is amazing. I can't recommend them...
