This clown show on Innes Road Orleans is seriously doing everything they can to tarnish the franchise name. I went through the drive thru tonight and ordered sweet potato fries. I was told they are sold out and they would be back in stock in a day or two. I decided to drive out without ordering anything else but as I existed the drive thru, I decided that I would just get an order of regular fries. I go around in a circle in the drive thru lane and there was no one else in front of me so I get to the order speaker again right away. As I’m about to say that I would like to order regular fries, (the time was 9:30 pm) the employee tells me it’s closing cash out time and that I can place an order after 20 minutes. I was a little irritated by this just having gone around twice and so I parked my car and walked into the store. As I walk in, the staff member who taking drive thru orders ( I recognized the voice and she had the headset on) is taking an order from another customer inside the store for a burger combo with a side of sweet potato fries. I stopped her and told her I had just tried to order sweet potato fries 5 mins ago and was told you they were out of stock. She came up with this whole story that they were out of stock earlier in the day but were just delivered from another store and the staff member who was taking drive thru orders might not have been aware that they were back in stock. She’s telling me this story as she’s still wearing the drive thru headset and I’ve been at the restaurant parking lot for the past 5 minutes and have seen every person come in and out of this place. It does not stop there. Without realizing that I speak the same language as her, she tells the fryer attendant to just take the sweet potato fries that I had finally managed to order out of the fryer earlier so they can just throw the order in my face and get me to leave. Not realizing that I understand every word of what she’s saying; she then proceeds to tell her staff to give her a heads up if a drive thru customer is walking into the restaurant. Get your act together and at least stick...
Read moreHonestly I would save your time and money and just go elsewhere….. McDonald’s offers better service than these guys….. I went in on January 18 around 12:00am(midnight), not a single car in the drive through besides me, I waited 9 minutes before I was even acknowledged at the speaker, and then I waited another 15 minutes at the window for my 2 burgers. The lady working tonight should consider switching to the day shift because she has no customer service whatsoever… she didn’t say so much as a how are you upon finally opening the window, just pushed my food at me and waved me away…….. I will take my business and money elsewhere.
Update: February 3 2024 Visited this “establishment” (not by choice) with my parents, the service is still horrendous even at 11am. The workers here are simply unpleasant at all hours of the day, there is one gentleman that works at this location that is a good worker-aside from him everybody needs to be let go and they need to find some competent employees. If you are going to employee people in the fast food industry you should make sure your workers are trained on proper customer service. The person working the drive through window was not listening to my order, we had to repeat 4 times, and then at the window we were given wrong items because she didn’t punch them in correctly.
Overall awful service still and this will be the last time I eat at this place. Absolutely terrible, owner should be ashamed of his employees, their service and his...
Read moreYou won’t find any-“buddy” trained to see customers ready to order here. Arrived hungry and left hungry and angry.
It’s really unfortunate. Was a bright sunny day. Been smelling grilling hamburgers the whole way home today, so I figured I walk in and grab a few things for myself and the family (6:10-6:20 or so, busy sure but I wanted to treat the visiting kids).
Studied the menu (bring your good glasses folks, you’ll need them) for a few minutes clearly out of any line, then walked right up and looked at the elegantly weaved girl at the cash with a respectable smile ready to be seen and order my fast food feast. Nothing.
After 3 - 5 min., I was beginning to think I had been hit by a car and died without realizing it on my walk and this focused cashier simply not see a ghost.
However, her co-worker (bravely rushing by behind her) clearly did; as she reached for orders and made others before returning to the drive they window.
So I am still standing, smiling courteously and making direct eye contact at this alleged server and her 3-4 Samsung screens. Nothing.
No eye contact, not a word nor gesture of acknowledgement or any kind in this world and the next; I’d hate to play against her in professional poker.
My last trip to any A&W.
I can walk across the street to any number of competitors (McD, Firehouse, Benny and Co., Shwarma Prince, etc) and get better service and value any day of the week over this dingy hole fly magnet any day...
