After going to this establishment for almost a year. I decided to bring my girlfriend whom I met for a year to our anniversary at this location. I fully understand that it is a boston pizza and not a pub. I requested one bottle of dark sambuca which they regrettably brought in for me. They fully knew that within the month that we were gonna be stopping by on this specific day to have our anniversary dinner after work. We were met with hello Cheers and oh. Yeah, by the way, we almost gave your seat away. After a couple drinks et cetera had ordered our food. We had ordered an appetizer with extra olives on it. And the waiter told us that already had all of us and extra cheese. So he said no problem and of course the appetizer came and there was no wall ups on it. I didn't want to cause much of a fight but they did take the appetizer back. Put some wall olives on it, put extra cheese on it and bake the living hell out of it. So we promptly had ordered steak for my meal and fish bowl for my girlfriend's meal. Well, needless to say, the steak was far under cooked and the salmon bull was absolutely raw. I know that you can have sushi et cetera and the salmon is cured, which is a little bit different but not raw. So we sent the salmon back. After being there 3 hours, we had only had three beers each and a couple shots. We were told that this is a family organization and not a pub and they didn't want to serve us anymore alcohol. We add zero issues with any of the patrons. We weren't singing too loudly to any of the songs and we get along with most people that go in to the establishment. Might I say we had probably been there 50 times this previous year? And we know most of the staff and owners. I don't know if it. Today was just the day of our anniversary that these clowns decided to say. No more alcohol for you and go out by the way. One of their staff put their hands-on me, which I appropriately. Pulled his hand off me and walked on by him. I asked him not to lay his hands on me. I've never been so embarrassed to be in a place for so long. And I've been treated the way that I was treated. I would never go back to this establishment and I would never recommend it. Needless to say, we used to send a ton of business to this location from the places that we both work. But we will no longer be doing that either. They know that they messed up and for over a week. They've had our personal numbers and never called us. I would like to recommend them but I just can't I would never recommend them. Also, they had said that they had taken some items off of the bill and the week prior the waiter had told me he had taken some items off to make sure that I tipped him properly for his good, sir. Well I made sure on the very last tip that I gave him fifty dollars. Don't spend it on the same place bud. Just for warning if you're happy to bring your kids here. A steak, a fish, a couple drinks and a side dish was over two hundred and fifty dollars. Need a small mortgage just to eat...
Read moreWe visited Boston Pizza Orleans for a birthday celebration this evening, and I wish I could say it was enjoyable. While our server was lovely, everything else about the experience was not.
The restaurant wasn’t busy at all when we arrived and we were seated right away. However, our food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, which is frustrating but not the end of the world. The real issues began when the food finally showed up. At least three of the pizzas we ordered had cold toppings—specifically, mushrooms and pepperoni—that were clearly thrown on after the pizza was cooked. They were cold, while the pizza itself was warm.
Additionally, three of us ordered the Fiesta Salad. When they arrived, we were stunned to find almost no chicken on them. I even pulled the chicken out of my bowl just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, and asked our server if there had been a mistake. To her credit, she immediately got one of the owners (older woman) to come to our table.
I wasn’t upset at first, but the owner's attitude quickly changed that. She was incredibly quick to dismiss my concern, stating that the "spec" for the salad was 2oz of chicken and that it was clearly stated in the menu (it isn’t). Having worked at this exact Boston Pizza for years before ownership changed, I can confidently say that 2oz of chicken on a meal-sized salad is absurd. When I pointed this out, she basically argued that times have changed, salads are more expensive, and this is just how things are now.
I was stunned that the owner of the restaurant would speak to a customer this way, let alone argue about such a ridiculous portion of chicken for a $20 salad. It’s clear this restaurant is cutting corners to save on food costs, and the quality shows.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place I once worked at and enjoyed dining at, fall to such a low standard. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to...
Read moreYesterday, I ordered a Bourbon Pizza online from this location as a pickup order. I modified the order to de-select bacon and include spicy chicken. When I received my order for pickup, I paid and I left to go back to my house. However, when I checked the pizza, I noticed it had bacon on it. I called and mentioned that my order had bacon even though I ordered it without it. The employee said she would have her manager speak to me.
Almost immediately, the demeanor from Jessie, the manager, was argumentative, disrespectful and abusive. She told me that her systems did not show that I requested to remove bacon and inferred that I was lying. I told her that I ordered from Boston Pizza in the past and have always been diligent in making sure that bacon was removed from my order. She said that she "noticed" my name in the past from my previous orders. Throughout our discussion, she continued to interrupt me while I was speaking, while being sarcastic and condensing.
At the end of the conversation, I asked for a refund and she refused to provide it. As a repeat Boston Pizza customer, who spent a lot of money in the past at this location, I will not be spending my money at this establishment because of the abusive and disrespectful behaviour from Jessie.
When I told her that I would no longer be going to her location because of her poor customer service, she said "Well, I was about to have a delivery man come by and provide you with a new pizza", but said she would not since I would no longer be a Boston Pizza customer. Her conduct was beyond petty and childish. I hope it was worth it. I felt that I was being interrogated over something that could have been rectified easily if she exercised proper judgment and customer service skills.
UPDATE: I contacted your head office last week and no one has responded to rectify the issue. Unprofessional company from...
