Mumbai Masala Grills offers an incredible dining experience that captures the essence of authentic Indian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home.
The menu is extensive and features a variety of dishes that cater to all taste preferences. I highly recommend the Butter Chicken and the Lamb Rogan Josh – both were cooked to perfection with rich, flavorful spices. The vegetarian options are equally impressive, with the Paneer Tikka and Chana Masala standing out as favorites.
What truly sets Mumbai Masala Grills apart is the attention to detail and the quality of ingredients used. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece, bursting with the vibrant flavors of India. The naan and other breads were freshly baked and complemented the dishes beautifully.
The service was impeccable. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our dining experience was flawless.
Overall, Mumbai Masala Grills is a gem of a restaurant. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or a first-time diner, you’ll be delighted by the delicious food and the warm hospitality. I can’t wait to...
Read moreThe food was good (except for one dish - mix-veggie vindaloo). The reason for 2 stars: EXTREMELY poor customer service.
We were there around 4:15pm (party of 2), there was no one in the restaurant but we kept waiting to be seated, the person at the counter continued to talk on the phone. We proceeded to seat ourselves and then had to wait even further to get the menu.
The mix-veggie vindaloo which was part of the combo we ordered tasted uncooked. The dish was made with poor quality frozen veggies which were inadequately cooked and the gravy tasted like raw spices. I am an Indian so I know the taste when spices are not cooked well.
Midway through our meal, the owner (I think) came to ask us how everything tasted. I provided an honest feedback, I complimented all that we had ordered except the mix-veggie vindaloo and explained the details. He tried to justify and walked away. He did not even offer to make it right or to replace it with something else! We left the dish almost untouched (except the 2 spoons we served ourselves before we discovered that it was inedible).
Why ask for feedback, if you are not going to act on it. Good customer service calls for...
Read moreEqually as important to me as quality of food is customer service. My husband just placed an order through uber eats and when we realized things were missing and called the restaurant, the guy who answered constantly just deflected blame onto uber eats, even after I repeatedly pointed out that the driver receives a stapled and tied bag so ultimately packaging and verifying contents is the restaurant's responsibility. The driver doesn't have xray vision. He coudlnt have cared less and just kept saying go complain to uber eats. And it wasn't until the end of a prolonged back and forth when I pointed out that amidst all the blame shifting he hadn't once even apologized for the inconvenience or the error that he hastily threw out an incredibly insincere sounding apology. We have ordered from this restaurant often, for our home and larger community gatherings, but that'll be the last time we do that. Unacceptable customer service, and I'm a super non-confrontational person who rarely writes reviews like this so had he started with a sincere apology the conversation would have gone entirely...
