Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

This has been the most disappointing, upsetting order I have made. We ordered my husband breaded wings, myself plant based chicken bites, and sweet potato fries. Our first issue came with the delivery driver. This is the second time we have gotten this driver. This women has cursed at my husband both times now, complaining angrily about him not tipping her, swearing while doing so. SO inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable!!! Our second issue, the biggest issue, is they sent us ALL MEAT!! My plant based wings were in fact REAL CHICKEN!! I am a vegetarian, and as such, would be beside myself mortified, and sick if I were to have eaten another living being!!

The only saving grace from this experience, is our customer service representative I spoke with was extremely kind, apologetic, and understanding. They have set for me to receive an order of actual plant based bites, via delivery if another driver is available, or will contact us, as I offered to walk over to avoid further contact with the previous driver.

All in all, if you are vegetarian/vegan, be cautious, check your food, because they may send you meat instead of your plant based options, and their delivery woman is horrible!

Will ALWAYS be going to the McArthur Pizza Pizza moving forward, service is always prompt, correct, and they are all so pleasant and kind...

I am extremely disappointed and concerned about a recent experience at Pizza Pizza (1191 St Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, ON). On May 20, 2024, I purchased two slices of pizza: one BBQ chicken and one cheese. While eating the BBQ chicken slice, I bit into a hard object that caused severe tooth pain. To my shock, I discovered it was a stone baked into the pizza.

I returned to the store immediately to report the incident. The employee confirmed it was an unsafe object but showed no sympathy or accountability. I only received an apology after explicitly requesting one, following a dismissive attitude.

This incident occurred on Victoria Day, so I had to wait until the next day to seek dental care. My dentist approved an emergency visit, requiring me to take time off work. Thankfully, no immediate damage was found, but the stress and inconvenience were significant.

As a loyal customer, I expect better quality and service from Pizza Pizza. I seek a formal apology, compensation for the distress caused, and assurances that such incidents will be prevented in the future. If not resolved satisfactorily, I will consider legal action and sharing my experience on social media.

I hope this matter is taken seriously and...

BE AWARE DELIVERY DRIVERS. As most customer mentioned about the old man working here usually night shifts is very rude. I do uber eats. Went there to pick up an order collected it and confirmed the order right in front of him. He still had a doubt but I didn’t mind and showed him twice that I confirmed the pickup! While On my way out he poked again that i didn’t confirm it and might steal it. And i told him that he can check my rating for the reference ( not every driver is same). But he still decided to stick with that behaviour and kept yelling and swearing and gave me a thumbs down. As soon as i completed my delivery i reported this incident to uber support and got this store blocked for my future orders and wrote it here. To all my fellow drivers please be sure not to deal with this old guy cancel your order because he will find a way to poke you. And end up making you mad. Eventually giving you thumbs down since every other bad review is about him. And at last i would advise pizza pizza to discipline him. Don’t ruin your brand and store with these kind of employees get rid of him. Since i am not just the one who is complaining about this guy. Will never deal with store...
