South St. Burger — Restaurant in Ottawa

Worst Uber Eats food place I’ve ordered from ever. Who ever was in charge of making my order disregarded all my requests and basically made their own order with my burgers. I ordered 2 Southern Fried Chicken Burger Combos. The first one was a Single Multi Grain Bun with the Signature Sauce, Caramelized Onions, Fries as topping, Lettuce and Sauteed Mushrooms. What I got was the multi grain bun and the caramelized onions. There were no fries in it, the lettuce was one sad piece and I’m not sure if what I got would even be considered sautéd mushrooms because it tasted extremely salty. The bacon in the burger was also so crispy it was basically burnt making it inedible. As for the second burger which I requested it to be the exact same as the first except with tomato and guess what that order was even worst with no tomato or sauce, the bacon only being one piece that was also inedible. And with this burger I got a regular sized fries with it and let me tell you it was so small, basically the size of the McDonald’s happy meal fries. I thought it was a joke when I received it. And you’d think you’d get bottled or plastic cup drinks with this combo but nope it just plain old 355ml cans. One more thing the poutine I got with the first burger combo was also ridiculously small just like everything in this store, don’t bother coming here if you want decently sized things for rational prices else you’ll be...

NEVER AGAIN for delivery.

Food is great which is sad we wont be getting from here ever again. Last night we decided to order from here despite the fact that last time we ordered from here they missed an item. Mistakes happen so we tried again.

It did not work out- an item was missing again and there was an issue with a sandwich. There are two chicken sandwiches there; one with bacon and one without. We ordered the one without since the person eating cannot have bacon- we received the one with bacon.

We still wanted the food so we called. The guy on the phone was great. He apologized and told us he would remake the order and then bring it to us. I asked how long and he said about 25 minutes.

That never happened. Two hours of checking later and he never came. We called multiple times and the rest of the staff had no idea what I was talking about. To make matters worse when I called- that associate had apparently "just had gone on break and left"

I don't know if this franchise is under new management or something but their customer service has gone extremely down hill. In the past couple months I haven't had a single order that was correct. Forgetting drinks that were paid for, forgetting key ingredients to some of their pre-topped burgers. I got a bacon cheeseburger once and both the bacon and cheese were missing but were paid for. One time I went in to the store and as the guy was making it I had to remind him to put bacon. He reached into their meat fridge, grabbed two raw pieces of bacon. While still holding one end of the strips he ran it across the grill for about 3 seconds then tried to put it raw on my burger. Also they NEVER change their gloves its really gross.
