Starbucks — Restaurant in Ottawa

I frequent this Starbucks at least once a week, if not more. Almost every time I go, there is somebody new who is being trained and/or making the drinks. This time however, there was nobody supervising the new staff member. At the cash register, she selected our drinks incorrectly multiple times and we basically had to instruct her on how to do it, because nobody else was around to help her. It wasnt her fault, but I can imagine how stressful that would be. I noticed that the manager or a supervisor was in, but he wasn't paying attention to the service going on around him whatsoever. We got passed by multiple people who were previously behind us in line by the time our drinks got entered into the system. Finally, when our drinks were ready, they were made incorrectly! I told them my drink was wrong and they acknowledged that they messed it up. But then they said they ran out of the lemonade for both of my drinks! I just opted to take extra base at that point, because I didn't want to bother getting back in line and dealing with a refund since I had been waiting for so long already. And I do not believe this was a particular staff issue, but more so due to the disorganization of the team as a whole and improper training. Most likely why they cycle through so much staff... I always love this location and they always make what I order perfectly. That being said, when I ordered today, all three of my drinks were incorrect and it genuinely seemed a bit careless that these little mistakes were happening. My one drink completely lacked any flavour/syrup which although it’s not much, you do pay extra for it. My other two drinks also completely lacked oat milk (pay extra for) which is a big no no for me as the people they were for are very lactose intolerant. Their drinks were also completely missing strawberry chunks when the drink is advertised to have it. This location has always been my favourite but unfortunately this really put a damper on that for me. I have worked in fast food before and I have also been a barista and I know it can be stressful and sometimes forgetting things comes with being a human being but all three drinks missing something was a bit surprising. i go here all the time when i'm craving some expensive coffee, because i love treating myself when i have some extra spending moneyyyy!! haha anyway, this is a decent starbucks location! the staff are very friendly and helpful. they even give you reccomendations when you order. you get fast service here too! this location is always clean, just wish the dining area was a little bit bigger, as the seating area gets filled up fast during the winter time, but that's just how the location was designed. i usually just take my coffee to go in this situation. overall great experiences througout the last...
