this Is a pure honest review Yesterday I was looking for somewhere to eat and I saw that new place that opened recently. I saw lot of of great reviews so I thought I’ll give it a try because I like trying new food places. I ordered a small chicken poutine but it wasn’t at the level I was excepting knowing that I paid 15 dollars for it, the brown sauce was too liquid, the chicken was dry and overall it was missing salt. Service was ok, I asked to have garlic sauce and they gave it to me for free, but the guy who takes payment wasn’t very nice but you never know if he was having a bad day or whatever. I know it’s a new place and it must be hard for them. I hope they get better so we can keep supporting our local businesses. N.B: the exterior seats...

Strand Restaurant is always very welcoming. Every time I’ve visited, I’ve had a great experience. Most recently, I went for breakfast with my family. After reviewing the breakfast menu, we noticed that some of the items included ingredients we are allergic to or cannot eat due to dietary restrictions.

The staff went above and beyond by offering to replace those ingredients with alternatives that suited our needs. This required them to do extra cleaning and preparation that wasn’t originally planned, yet they did it with care—and the food looked and tasted absolutely delicious.

Gping to The Strand is like joining hands with family. All of the food prepared with smiles and careful personal touches. You are a friend not a customer. The areas immaculate and servers wearing hloves and the food fresh served right away no waiting and kindness. There is a big smile on Brians face as he usually drops in to survey his crew and the many who proufmdly come to support the new restaurabt. So he is the real deal! Working night and day I must confess this is his way. Such a hard worker. The fish and chips is now my favourite.
