Subway — Restaurant in Ottawa

Worst experience ever in this country at this restaurant..

Would suggest open your subs before you leave the place if you are ordering online.

Ordered chicken teriyaki footlong with a promotion. Lady purposefully divided 6iches portion of chicken and veggies into footlong Or even less. There was no lettuce. Since it was a takeout and we won’t find it unless we reach home. Anyways.. We accidentally opened the sub in the restaurant… to find there were few pieces of chicken. Upon asking her to make it right.. she said since you have used a coupon, I am not going to put anything more. She was rude and very adamant… which is Disgusting!!

For second footlong which was grilled chicken she purposefully put 1 piece of some other shredded food and that’s it with very few pieces of veggies. This was how we discovered our orders were made totally wrong.

Man who I believe was owner told us since he has to make the grilled chicken order again he is loosing money. We can take our money back. Else go and sit far while he will make our order again. Writing here since I didn’t say it there. Excuse me Mr… I have paid for complete order to eat.. not just to buy a piece of bread or go at some other restaurant since you just want me to pay and go without food. I have invested time and money to order and then drove to this place to pick it up.

Since it was a coupon we applied lady said this is what she is going to put. So be aware if you are ordering from this place. Avoid it if you can. This experience is really frustrating.. we ruined our dinner, cheerful moods at...

I ordered a footlong cold cut. Lettuce, cucumber, green olives on half and pickles on the other half. I always have to ask them to put the meat on the bottom otherwise for some reason they put it on the top. I got my order and found 3 cucumber slices, 2 slivers of green pepper and 3 pickl slices on each half. 1 of the pickl slices wasn't even in the sandwich so 2 slices when I was eating it. I did request lots of green olives which I did get. Thank you for that. I called the manager and all she said was that's what the standards are. I asked her if 2 slivers of green pepper is really their standard. She asked me what I wanted her to do. I was just about to suggest something when she interrupted me and told me they followed the procedure and hung up on me. I called her back and asked if she just hung up on me which she denied. I asked for head office number and was told she doesn't know it and that they wouldn't do anything anyways. Then she told me she was busy and...

I went tho this Subway location today, right after masks in indoor public spaces became mandatory in Ontario. The woman making the sandwiches had her mask clearly pulled down under her nose. I asked her politely to wear her mask correctly, and she does not reply. After she finishes with her current sandwich she takes off her gloves, washes her hands, and fixes her mask. At this point I don't want to eat there anymore and I wait to speak to the manager. I let the manager know what happens and he rudely tells me to get out. I was not making a scene.
