A Year Ago- Amazing food and excellent service. One of the new great Shawarma spots in the city. And it’s right across the street from me. 👌🏻

UPDATE Today- UPDATE: My wife and I used to live across the street and ate here once every week. It was one of the best places in the city. We moved away and had not been back since last year. We really missed their food so we decided to come and treat ourselves.. I don't know what happened to this place but the food was SO gross.. We ordered the chicken and beef platter. The chicken was dry, the beef was very chewy and the salad was not fresh at all. The lettuce was brown, the turnips were mealy, the potatoes were mushy and the rice was in dry clumps.. We are VERY disappointed. How can you give paying customers such horrible quality food? I want my money back. I'm sad to say but... I don't think we will be...

Yesterday we picked up two family platters for graduation party lunch. I was worried that two platters might not be enough for 10 people.(says serves 5 each). I should not have been concerned! There was an incredible amount of food and everyone loved it! Unfortunately, we did run out of pitas so you might wish to have your own on hand or cut them into pieces. People did make sandwiches with them rather than just eating them on the side of their plate which is fine. We just didn’t have quite enough as most people also had seconds and thirds. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! My husband and I discovered this spot when we moved to Alta Vista. Not only is the food delicious, we could not believe how generous the portions are. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and kind to us. I am an Ottawa native, having grown up going to the classic Shawarma Palace on Rideau St. however Super Bite Shawarma EXCEEDS any shawarma place in Ottawa. We became such big fans of their food and service, we decided to offer their food to our wedding guests for the morning after lunch to help cure our guests from the night before (!).
