This timmies used to be immaculate but the last couple of years have been a disappointment. I gave a 3 star ONLY because the week day morning service is good. The order taker Carol is a sweetheart and always makes my day! In the afternoon, the staff in drive-thru are short and rude with you and the food is always stail... also, someone needs to educate the window staff. Today I had 2 separate orders and was hoping to use my points for my drink. The staff is so focused on drive-thru times that they see a debit/credit card and hit the transaction button on their screen before waiting to see if the customer is using a tim card to get points and if you tell them they scan your points card without cancelling on the pinpad. The problem is that their scanner makes the beep but if the pinpad is waiting for a transaction, you dont actually get any points.... I saw this and asked her to make sure the free drink was processed and she just said "points don't work when doing multiple orders". I used to work at timmies and I know for a fact they do. She just didn't want to cancel the pinpad to scan my card because it takes precious seconds off their drive-thru time. We called about an order that was made incorrectly (mind you, we specifically put instructions for the order to be made a certain way, and we've had it made that way EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's literally just not including one ingredient on something, it can't be that hard.) Anyways, we call the manager about this, because I'm allergic to the ingredient that was included, and he has the AUDACITY to accuse me of trying to take his store's money and get free food. He kept cutting me off every five seconds to accuse me of trying to screw his store over. Extremely unprofessional, I'll be raising a more formal complaint as this sort of treatment of customers for YOUR employees' ignorance and incompetency is not only rude but unprofessional. Don't work in customer service if you're going to be an unsavory individual. And to anyone reading this, go to any other Tim Hortons. Literally any other one. This one does not deserve your business, and deserves to actually lose money after that...
