Bradley's on Jensen — Restaurant in Parksville

I've been here roughly about a dozen times, I really enjoy their Turkey sandwich with stuffing. I've always found their soup to very mediocre but still came in for the sandwich. I also would like to state I've always left between 15 and a 20% tip. Yesterday I went in and ordered the sandwich, there was clearly a miscommunication because it came out on a multigrain bread not toasted, which has never happened out of 12 times going there. I can remember going the time before and them clearly asking me if I wanted it toasted and her exact words, our sourdough is much better toasted. I've even had them forget to toast it previously, on another occasion they forgot stuffing in my sandwich and then offered to give me some on a plate , not remake with it. When informed them that its not toasted and not the correct bread they said that's what I ordered. They didn't offer to remake it. I took one bite and walked out. I would never support a business that has such ignorant employee's. I hope the owner trains some common sense into them. I won't go back. The Brazen Poppy Bakery Cafe has superior soup, sandwiches and customer service. I can guarantee if that happened at the Brazen they would have made a new sandwich...

Stopped in at 2:15, a full 45 minutes before they closed, and they were pulling in their chairs from outside and only serving the very limited prepared food from their counter and not making fresh food. No sandwiches to be had. Maybe if you are a local you know this about the cafe it’s OK. But we were traveling through. Not sure what to say they were very nice when l entered the cafe but once I paided my bill the service sucked l guess the cashier didn’t like the tip (bad vibes) well l don’t believe in tipping before l believe after l experience the service and the food l had the Clubhouse it was fresh but really tight on the bacon and the process turkey over powered the whole sandwich and that’s never a good thing .
