My favourite sushi place of all time. The sushi is always fresh, and whenever I get tempura rolls they are crispy and delicious. The owners are always polite, and have never gotten my order wrong. Anyone complaining about bad customer service is just another of those self-important customers you always see in the service industry. Just because the person serving you isn’t constantly smiling and making conversation doesn’t mean they are unfriendly or rude. I don’t need to see fake smiles and automatic thank-you’s for it to be good customer service, all I need is good food made by people who enjoy making it. I can understand some people may have had a genuinely bad experience on a couple reviews, but I work in customer service & I’ve seen how customers treat employees, and it’s disgusting.

Rant aside, their tempura yam rolls, and deep fried california rolls are the best I’ve had at local sushi places, and their spicy tuna roll is really good as well, although it has sriracha on it as well as spicy mayo which some might dislike. I am only giving this a 3 star because the food was ok. It was my 3rd time and honestly will not go back because the owner was so rude. I am generally alway friendly and understanding of businesses , to not try to bash but this was just plain rude. We had 2 seperate orders , not huge, 2 miso, sushi and tempura. We asked if we could sit while we waited. Owner said no obviously because he did not want to wipe the chairs down. There was no smile, no thank you for 2- 15 percent tips on two take out orders. No spoon for our soup or napkins. At this time when people are struggling to stay open, some good customer service would have been nice. No Goodbye or one smile. This is by far the worst sushi and customer service I’ve experienced. Very rude people running this place and their sushi is just as bad. We ordered three miso soups, $3.00 each and they were all half full. We asked for a full bowl and they filled one of them begrudgingly. We ordered a yam and avocado roll; no avocado and a very small roll for $5.50. We showed them the roll and they tried to say “it’s very thin avocado.” So thin we can’t see it?! C’mon.
