We were SO disappointed. We had heard this was THE Chinese Food place to go to. OMGoodness...I'm not sure if it's because we had more choice when we lived in Ottawa, but this place was terrible!!!! I feel so bad writing a negative review, but I had to warn other people. The Eggrolls are mainly cabbage and pretty tasteless. As an expert Chinese Food eater, if the Eggrolls aren't good you can pretty well bet nothing else will be. The Fired Rice wasn't even fried! I'm not even sure it was properly steamed. You couldn't tell. Almond Guy Ding was mainly celery. Most of the Spareribs were tough. I find anymore that most staff at Tim Hortons have very poor Customer service skills. And this is at any location I have visited with the exception of the Sydenham/ Princess Street Location in Kingston. Staff do not seem very Knowledgeable about their product or prices either one. If it weren't for the people I drive I wouldn't bother to go to Tim Hortons. And I don't agree with them saying that their product is BAKED FRESH DAILY when all the product that they serve is brought in FROZEN and taken out as needed. Sure it's.baked as needed but too me. I called and arranged a time of 5pm to pick up my order, arrived at 4:50 as I didn’t want it sitting there, I’d rather wait a few minutes and have it hot. While I was waiting I took a good look around the cramped front entry where I had to wait. By far the filthiest restaurant I have ever been in.
