Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Peterborough

1 star is too generous! My wife ordered 2 subs for us for dinner, she couldn't even finish hers as it was inedible. The bread was stale, The veggies tasted strange like they had been sitting out for a while and the breaded chicken was soggy. The portion she did eat made her sick to her stomach. Service was poor as well, the person making the sub didn't know what they were doing as they tried to grill just the bread and cheese before adding toppings? They argued when my wife pointed out that maybe the other toppings should be on the sub before it's grilled. We will never go back to this location which is a shame as we have frequented it...

Only things going for here is the location is clean and toppings are fresh... pricing is more than subway, and the sizes are smaller, the staff here can barely understand what you are telling them when you order, and they try to add toppins without asking. Mr Sub grills their subs instead of toasts and does it after the veggies are added, which I have never liked but wont dock stars here for even though it changes the flavor and consistency... what i will dock them for is when they dont even ask if you want the sub grilled before wrapping it and giving it to you. Ordered a Sub through Uber eats. I requested shredded cheese. instead what I got was no cheese in the sub. Two slices of plain white cheese strips in a paper bag by itself. On top of that, I was only able to eat half of the sub before I started to feel SICK- a type of SICK I've never felt before. This place is unsanitary and disgusting. I can only imagine most of the customers must have iron stomachs. That's sad, as this was my last resort for something decent - I recently moved up to Peterborough and a running theme I've noticed is the fast food...
