Les Moulins La Fayette — Restaurant in Pointe-Claire

Ever since this place was sold, it has completely changed and not in a good way. Our last purchase was the last straw. Although the owner was very pleasant with us and offered right away to replace the items, the staff took offence and replace with just as bad products. Obviously something is wrong with either the recipe or the cook, but it will not survive, especially in the village with such nice places around. This place is in prime location and it would be a shame that it does not survive. Unfortunately the staff being unpleasant adds to the food being not very good anymore at the price we pay, we will just go elsewhere. Very sad! We go in the Village every 2 weeks, sometimes making a detour to go at this place, no longer that will happen! Like another review said, if you want bread made today, come tomorrow, if you want a smile go elsewhere, well said and it sums it...

This place has a very interesting creation story that I highly recommend checking out (no spoilers 😉). As always, they have some of the coolest pastries, I can confidently say - one of the best bakeries in Montreal! 🥐

The coffee here is also of a very high standard. ☕ The atmosphere is extremely interesting and even romantic, if I can say so. 😍 Very beautiful outdoor tables with wonderful views of the street 🌳 The staff is very friendly and attentive. 😊

Definitely recommend Les Moulins La Fayette as a must-have place to visit! 👍

The coffee was good an older lady that is staff was not friendly at all. We were doing work on a laptop and she told us to move cause she isnt a starbucks. We moved and I was annoyed but moved quietly with no fuss. She came back to tell me to check my attitude when I wasn't saying anything to her. We told her to put a sign up for no laptops like other cafe's and she said its common sense that a laptop wouldn't be allowed.

POINT is RUDE! you don't talk to a customer like that to "check her attitude" .

but coffee was good . Come here with no laptop if you want...
