I used to love going there but our last experience left us with bitter taste...

Last year the price used to be 12$ for 1L bucket and we always got the 1$ discount for bringing the empty containers. (So 11$ for 1L bucket). This year price jumped to 15$. I called the night before to make sure that they are still doing the 1$ discount. I was told that they would do it but they are not taking the containers anymore due to covid (same as last year).

Then when I showed up the next day, I ordered 2x 1L bucket and a cone. Asked about the 1$ discount and the girl would not give it to us. She said we had to bring back the empty containers (which we have lots). I told her we called the night before to ask about it and she said that she couldn't do it and she would have to check with a manager.

The thing is her friend was at the other cash hanging out and trying all the different flavors while we were left hanging and waiting after already having chosen our flavors. It felt like she prioritized giving free icecream to her friend than serving us, paying customers. She never checked with the manager and charged us 15$/1L.

It was on April 7th around 2:15pm. It was a rainy and there were no other customers.

We usually go at least 10x a year, I would say we have been very good costumers over the years. The icecream is really good but I am not as excited as before going back. From 11$ to 15$ for 1L bucket is just too expensive in my opinion and the staff on that particular day is keeping us waiting while we are spending over 40$ for icecream, and chatting/giving free sample to their friend.

I am sorry but I did not feel valued and 1L bucket is too expensive from $11 to $15 in a year. I know there is inflation but this makes no sense. Wild willy has got more polular over last couple years, buy they are now high jacking their prices in my opinion with their new found popularity. Last year sometimes the staff would blast the music too on the speakere which made it annoying while we are waiting. We have a free icecream with our stamp card on our next visit but I am thinking that will...

Hello Wild Willy Owner, I have constructive criticism for your business! You are a very popular ice cream shop in Montreal, and it makes sense, your ice cream is great!

I am a long time loyal client of yours that comes weekly. I collect the stamp cards. Usually when I give the full stamp card, I get my ice cream cone with the waffle cone and the flavour I want - no issues.

However, last night, I gave my stamp card to the cashier and ordered a small frozen yogourt in a cup. I wanted chocolate on top. Because of this she charged me a 3$ difference(I’ve never been charged a difference before): I find this a weird business practice but okay fine(you should allow the customer to have something the same price as they usually spend). She hands me my fro yo, and it has a tiny amount of chocolate on it(everytime I order this, this issue has never happened), the ice cream wasn’t fully covered in chocolate. I asked her to add more, and she replies saying: ill need to charge you again. I couldn’t believe she said that to me after I just paid a difference. I don’t feel like a respected and valued customer with that kind of business behaviour.

As a loyal customer who constantly brings business and tells everyone you have the best ice cream in Canada, its very stingy of you.

On average people probably spend about 7.50$/person on your ice cream(my guess), therefore you should also give that amount with the stamp card. It doesn’t make sense for people to be spending a lot on your ice cream, and you expect them to get something cheaper with the card that they wouldn’t usually get. Might as well increase the amount of stamps, and then give the customer a proper ice cream.

Secondly, your lines are poorly managed. People come in through the third line and cut the people in the second line due to the tree being in the way.

I really hope you can start to properly value your customers, because some business in Montreal who got very popular and stopped keeping their quality before hand, they are losing massive amounts of loyal customers. People speak to each other, bad...

WIld Willy's Ice Cream is a great ice cream store and one of the most recognized in the West Island of the city of saints. I have frequented this store many times and it’s a decent ice cream store nothing out of the ordinary. Their shakes are decent and they have vegan options as well which is great and amazing. The lineup is a weird design because it extends on the curb instead of in the road.

After hearing about for so long and finally being able to try it I had the chance to do it in May, 2022. There was a long lineup especially during the summer months and weekends.

I had their half and half soft serve ice cream in a cup. I paid $5 for it. It was good and not that sweet and tasted like the soft serve you will find everywhere. I wanted a soft serve after seeing someone in front of me ordering it

The menu was hard to see late at night and I was not familiar with the flavours and types you can order at first.

When you get close to the till you can see the flavours and types better.

So it would be nice if we knew the flavours before hand and their menu was on top the wall and kind of confusing to find and know which types of Ice Cream you prefer.

They are no toilets inside the store and the ice cream store resembles a house so if it rains or inclement weather comes in you are outside then Shelter is hard to find.

Parking is hard to find so biking or walking is okay and the bus stop is close by so great initiatives if available.

I hope they have the amenities and have flavours and clearer signage for their menus and brands in the near future.

A would recommend for me and try it out when you...

One of my favorite ice cream spots in the West Island! And it has really good prices too if you compare to Baskin Robins or DQ. When we went, there was no line up. And parking is street parking just in front, or you can park down the road by the water and then just walk over. They have LOTS of different flavours and ice cream for your pups as well. It’s all homemade too! Super delicious and we would have it by the picnic tables just next to it, or have it by the water. Perfect for a summer day!

They always deliver great quality and very yummy ice cream. I go there regularly from Montreal:) They also offer lactose-free options (frozen soft serve tofu that is actually super delicious). Their soft serves and hurricanes are AMAZING. The staff is super nice, and although it's always crowded, you never have to wait in line.

Had a chocolate & candy covered waffle cone with a scoop of Charlie Brownie & Banana. Brought mom and bro... sat at a picnic table with a parasol in the small corner park next to it and enjoyed thoroughly! Highly recommended. They even have a BEER flavoured ice cream among many others.Go visit. You won't regret it.
