I’ve been here before with no issues but this time was… notably unacceptable. I came in to order one combo (did not call in advance). There were two people in front of me in line. It took 12-15 minutes to get through them. I overheard the staff say there overwhelmed (and a young child was working, perhaps someone’s son — he was really sweet and capable, I give a star rating of 11/10 for him, I could see he was concerned / overwhelmed but kept his composure and seemed very knowledgeable of the systems). Anyways I ordered one combo and it took 23 additional minutes to land. During this time the staff gave out a freebie to the customer right before who had been waiting a while, and a freebie upgrade to a family after me. I feel like this makes a lot of things right, but nothing was offered to me and I’d waited just as long if not longer, for much less.
The rice was very stuck together and the miso soup was a bit metallic/bland (I know miso has a unique taste — I love miso, I swear it was a little bit off).

It was not a rush hour time. I Ordered 1 Large combo and 1 poke bowl. 3 choices of maki were refused by the employee. She told me to choose something else instead and that the chef will not make them because it is too complicated. Why do you put them in the menu in the first place then if it is too complicated for you and you don’t want the client to order them? Secondly the staff were very rude, their service was bad. Read moreI rarely leave any reviews but this specific location is by far the worst sushi shop location. On more than one occasion the staff have been rude and condescending. My most recent experience with this spot confirms that I will never be ordering from this location again. After making an Uber order, I simply contacted the location and spoke to Tom just to request that two ingredients be removed from my poke bowl because Uber did not have the option to remove those ingredients and I was met with such rudeness that I simply canceled my order. I called back to speak to the manager and was told I can’t have the manager’s name. I can’t believe that in the restaurant industry someone can refuse to provide the managers’s name.
