NeNe Chicken — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

I am a regular of this store. Today, I experienced the worst experience out of all Korean Fried Chicken stores. I ordered two medium cheese chicken. As usual, I told the worker that I needed the powder separated. When I checked my order in the car, I saw only one case of 1/3 filled seasoning powdered. I went back to the store and told the worker that the seasoning powder is not enough. In the past, I had always had two cases of seasoning powders, given that I have two orders of chicken. The worker argued that I was incorrect that I should only have one small case of seasoning. I insisted that I have two orders of chicken and the one small case of seasoning is not enough. The worker just started to ignore me and opened his pouch of cheese seasoning and poured a small teaspoon for me. He just had to spend the extra time, specifically make this teenie tiny bit case of seasoning powder for me, while there are many other pre-prepared cases on the shelf?! Because I only deserve one small teaspoon of it?? See my attached photo for proof. My wife called back to the store, demanded to speak to the manager. The guy just hung up. All in all, I don't care about the cost of the powder. His attitude is terrible. I find the way he handled the situation insulting. It's a mistake to eat fried chicken tonight. It is a mistake to choose NeNe chicken tonight, and I will no longer be visiting. Just go to the one...

I ordered the Double Double Chicken from Nene Chicken and was super satisfied since I could enjoy four different flavors at once.

The Spicy Chicken had a mildly spicy sauce balanced perfectly with sweetness, coating the crispy batter nicely and mild enough for even those who aren't great with spicy food. The Soy Garlic Chicken featured a savory soy-based sauce with a subtle garlic aroma, not overly salty and lightly spicy. The Snowing Cheese Chicken offered an addictive sweet-and-salty taste with a creamy, rich flavor that gently melted in my mouth. The Creamy Onion Chicken blended fresh onions and creamy sauce wonderfully, giving it both refreshing and savory notes.

Fried chicken here was crispy without feeling greasy, and the meat inside was juicy and tender. The portions were generous, more than enough for two people, and reasonably priced for the amount of food we got.

The cheese balls we ordered as a side were chewy and sweet, perfect as a dessert.

The store was clean, the staff friendly, and our food was served quickly.

It felt amazing being able to enjoy the authentic Korean taste of Nene Chicken right here...

I recently visited NeNe Chicken and I was impressed by how clean the place was and the variety of food options available. However, I noticed that they still have a grand opening sign out front, even though it's been at least six months since they opened, which seemed a bit odd.

One concern I had was seeing a woman in the kitchen who appeared to be quite sick and was coughing, even though she was wearing a mask. I believe it's important for anyone handling food to be healthy for the safety of the customers.

On a positive note, the food was delicious! I highly recommend the cheese balls; they were definitely a highlight of my meal. Overall, I enjoyed my experience but hope they address the health concerns in...
