We ordered the bennies and the English muffin was soggy and not toasted. We order this same one every time at other locations and it did not taste the same. Anyway we talked to a lady which turned out to be the manager. She was quite rude and not understanding. We had to send our orders back 3 times. However, Marc (our server) was AMAZING, personable, and kind. Management needs to understand how customer service works and let go of their ego. Thank you Marc- you rock.
**Response to their reply. Actually, it wasn't that we wanted it extra toasted or extra onions. There wasn't any on them to begin with. At first our server said the potatoes don't come with onions but then apologized and said it does. (Which wasn't what we brought up in this review anyway) Sadly, If soggy muffins are up to standards then that's unfortunate. Yes the manager reluctantly comped it after my friend asked at the end due to the fact that my friend waited a while to eat her breakfast since it had a legitimate issue with it 3 times. The spinach bennie was what my other friend ordered, she subbed steak for spinach and there was none on one of them. Our waiter brought raw spinach to sprinkle on top to which my friend politely asked to have it cooked. And there was no sincere apology from the manager. She seemed annoyed from the start. The manager didn't understand the issue at first as my friend went up to the host desk to speak to someone since we couldn't flag down our original waiter since she was off shift and left. Anyways, it wasn't a great experience but like we said above, Marc was amazing and it really is all about building relationships. We are aware mistakes can happen and perhaps cook staff and management are still training/new!...
Read moreI edited to five stars given the response and attention by the manager. There has been zero complaints while in-person dining. I have and will continue to recommend this place for sit in.
I agree certain ways eggs are cooked do look smaller. My comments reflect the presentation and valuation of the take out. I absolutely don't believe malice in 'shorting' the dish - merely I felt an oversight from kitchen misreading the ticket and producing the dish.
I will defiantly, and in good faith, try take out again. I pledge to modify my comment about the take out to reflect the experience at that future time.
Thank you for the speedy response and much wishes on the success of the business. I look forward to trying it again
Adam Although loved the restaurant in the beginning, I'm developing concerns on consistency when getting take out exclusively.
I like ordering an extra egg on top of my skillet when taking out. I've been finding that when I add an extra egg it barely looks like one egg total in the meal. When I don't include the add on, I feel I get more egg than if I paid for the extra. Having ordered this dish frequently, just in case it was a one off, it seems like the trend is to get less when paying for more. And now it's not as simple as just order without, it's the lack of perception of value placed on an upsale - with the dish now pushing over 20 dollars.
Being full fair and frank, I have not addressed this with management as it much later that I notice and the time between visits.
Food quality is great and servers are friendly - eating within the restaurant has been fantastic. The above noted problem has only been exclusive...
Read moreCozy, airy, and very spacious brunch spot. We showed up at around 8:30am on a sunny Saturday and there's barely anyone in there it was awesome. Felt like we have the whole space to ourselves. The place starts filling up quickly though by around 9AM or so. But even then, I don't think you'll find trouble finding a seat here as the establishment is pretty spacious.
The portion and pricing is similar to other brunch places. You can expect around $20-25 /plate. And if you order juice or coffee add another $5-7 I'd say. FYI, "latte bowl" is just a larger cup of latte, it's not really a bowl. And I believe there's at least 2 different types of OJ: freshly pressed or one that comes out of a carton (I think there's actually 3 kinds, but I don’t remember the 3rd one). We got the freshly pressed one obv and it was delicious. Not sure about the price difference.
LOVE their fries. Fried to perfection. And their breakfast sausage was very tasty. Everything else on our plate was pretty good, except the bacon. The bacon that came w/ my husband's eggs Benny was dry but still not too bad. Maybe the hollandaise sauce helps to give it some moisture. But my bacon was extremely dry it feels like chewing on cardboard. Not good. Hopefully it's just a one-off thing as everything else was fine. Would definitely come back to try...
