Ihave gone to this restaurant a few times and tried a few dishes but all the meat curries are same tasting, with the exception of different meats and of course different menu names. The lamb kadai taste exactly like lamb or goat curry! The biryani is basically chicken curry mixed with rice. You might as well just order chicken curry with rice on the side, mix it yourself, and wallah! you have just made biryani. Now, I am NOT saying the the food don't taste good, I would give three stars for the food.

Place setting: 3/5 (i would give it a 4 if the music was not too loud, they were playing the 60's and 70' Hindi songs (I love hindi songs) prior to today's visit, they were playing religious songs and very loud, I am at a restaurant and not in a temple.

Value: 2/5 The reason for this is that I had ordered their mix grilled platter, the meats were fresh. This dish cost some $25 plus tax, but ONLY ONE SHRIMP!! AND ONE SMALL PEICE OF FISH!! go figure. For $25 just one pc of shrimp. I am not kidding. At first I thought it was an over sight, I talked to the guy, and he said yes, we only give one pc of shrimp, few minutes later the older guy (owner) i spoke to him and he too confirms that in a $25 mix grilled platter there is only one shrimp. I was amazed, yet the owner did not say anything to make me feel good, even when I am telling him, hey, I don't see value. Something wrong here.

We went to Aroma on a Sunday afternoon. It was a bit late in the day so there was no one in the restaurant. The place looks clean and organized. Waitress was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered couple naan and Vegetable Samosa as appetizers. Naan's were very good and Samosa was OK, nothing especial, just OK. We ordered Chicken Goa, Butter Chicken (World Famous)! and Chicken Tikka as main dishes. First of all unlike many other Indian Restaurants the main dish DO Not come with rice or naan, so you have to order rice separately, which will add to already over priced food, so we order two Pulao rice which is supposed to be spicy and aromatic, which was not! Chicken Goa tasted like coconut water. Sauce was very thin and tasteless (tasted like thin coconut water that you buy from a gas station!) this was the worst dish that I ever had in an Indian restaurant, and I have been in lots of them! Butter Chicken (World Famous)! and Chicken Tikka were alright, nothing to brag about just OK (you may find better butter chicken dishes even in some mall's food courts). Food portions are very small, so if you are going with your young son or you are hungry, consider going to somewhere else or be ready to order two dishes a person as the portions are very small. Considering the food portions and that you have to pay for naan or rice separately, I would say this place is over priced. I will not go back nor do I recommend this place to my friends. The quality of their food doesn't worth the horrible experience of ordering in this place again. We used to order here food to go regularly, but today was the last time we order at this place because of their horrible customer service and horrible food. We ordered food to go as usual, but decided to come to the restaurant because everyone was very hungry and it worked faster for us. My husband called them and said when we are going to be there. We came, they sat us at a table (we have 4 little kids) and after 10 minutes of waiting asked if we want the same order as we asked when we called! 10 minutes he was waiting before going to the kitchen to start preparing our food! I thought it to be the worst part, but he also forgot to serve us part of our order saying that we didn't order it, although it is the only thing I eat at this place and my husband couldn't forget to order it.
