Timbertrain Coffee Roasters - Port Moody — Restaurant in Port Moody

We saw postings from others about this Timbertrain Coffee shop in Port Moody. We finally came here to try their coffee and enjoyed the interior decor and ambience on Sunday afternoon. The weather was gorgeous as well!! Its the beginning of October but it felt like summer.

There is a parking outside the coffee shop, so it’s quite convenient and customers can park and go for a coffee or beer. No worries about finding parking at all.

This coffee shop is attached with Hue Sales Gallery or a Presentation Centre. I hope the coffee shop will stay and continue doing business in Port Moody as the community needs more great coffee shops like this! Just don’t want anymore Starbucks or Tim Hortons LOL

My sister and I ordered a cup of 12 oz latte and a cup of 8oz flat white with soy. Both tasted great!! The texture of the latte was very smooth, rich and full of coffee flavour. (FYI - some latte outside are full of milk that we can’t even taste coffee!) The pricing is reasonable.

They sell coffee beans here but we didn’t buy any as we roast our own coffee beans at home. I might try to buy a bag of their coffee beans next time and see if they are good.

Also, they sell beer here! If customers don’t want to drink coffee, order beer with food, pastries or bread. It’s still a great option. Grab a coffee or beer and sit at the patio right outside the coffee shop with beautiful pedant lights on the ceiling.

The coffee shop has also done a great job on landscaping. I love their simple landscaping plan but with different plants and flowers for decorations. The overall ambience and interior decorations are great. It’s just very comfy and spacious to sit inside or outside the coffee shop.

Such a cute hidden gem now open in Port Moody. I loved the decor of it… bright, clean and spacious. The food was delicious. We got a cappuccino, lemon lavender cookie, and the spinach croissant.

The only thing we were uncertain of was that they don’t have a full menu displayed anywhere in the location or on their website so we were not sure of what else they had other than what they had in their display in the front or the very small menu they posted on their wall. It wasn’t until after we actually ate what we ordered is when we found out they had more than what was on the display so I kind of wish they had their full menu placed somewhere in the location or if they staff had mentioned what else they had since this was our first time visiting it.

Unique exterior building finish, and a pleasant & modern interior designs, with open-concept kitchen in the centre & seating area surrounding the kitchen.

I went on a Sunday afternoon at around 3pm, and it was somewhat busy.

It can be a bit noisy when its busy & full (not much sound damping walls), but it is a great place for a cup of coffee & baked goods to relax upon during less busy times. I grabbed latte with soy milk, and even though it was pretty good, it did not beat our favorite soy milk latte at Timbertrain gastown location.
