Opa Sushi in Prince Rupert is a culinary gem that has left a lasting impression on my taste buds. With its fusion of Japanese and Greek flavors, this restaurant offers a unique and delightful dining experience that is hard to find elsewhere.

The ambiance at Opa Sushi is warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that blends modern and traditional elements. The dim lighting creates an intimate atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal.

Now, let's talk about the food. Opa Sushi's menu is a tantalizing fusion of two seemingly unrelated cuisines, but the results are nothing short of extraordinary. Their sushi rolls are a work of art, with creative combinations that showcase the chef's skill and imagination. The "Greek Fusion Roll" is a personal favorite, combining fresh seafood with Mediterranean flavors like feta cheese and olives.

The quality of the ingredients at Opa Sushi is evident in every bite. The fish is impeccably fresh, and the rice is perfectly seasoned. The attention to detail in each dish is commendable, from the delicate presentation to the harmonious blend of flavors. Vegetarians will also find plenty of options, including delicious vegetable rolls and a variety of tempura dishes.

In addition to sushi, Opa Sushi offers a range of other Japanese and Greek dishes, from sashimi to moussaka. The diverse menu ensures that there's something for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant also has an impressive selection of sake and Greek wines to complement your meal.

While Opa Sushi in Prince Rupert may not be the most traditional sushi restaurant, it certainly stands out as a culinary adventure worth embarking on. The combination of Japanese and Greek cuisines is a delightful surprise, and the impeccable quality of the food and service makes it a must-visit establishment for food enthusiasts in the area. Whether you're a sushi lover or simply looking for a unique dining experience, Opa Sushi is sure to leave you with a lasting impression of delicious...

Good portions for the price in comparison to other sushi places in town. Ordered a toro roll and a poke bowl without rice (shown in picture). Poke bowl was a bit too sweet for my liking, but at least the fish was fresh enough. Gotta be careful when ordering because rice with the poke bowl was an extra $4! Spent a total of around $25 for both and left fairly satisfied, but don't expect to be stuffed afterwards if you come here starving unless you're willing to blow a lot of money.

Service was a bit slow and the server messed up my order, but they fixed it at no cost to me. Cozy atmosphere. Would've liked to eat at a patio table but it was raining pretty hard outside.

Saw that they have daily $3 mimosas from 3pm - 5pm, so I'll definitely be back...

I'm so happy to give a review! So: It's a big birthday. I've always liked Opa's sushi and atmosphere. I needed some extras to make the birthday celebrations special and called in to the restaurant. Whomever answered the phone was always nice and welcoming, and that set the tone for this experience. Then Anand got on board, and I tell you - he was responsive to everything. He was friendly, professional , so supportive and gracious, helped me plan for the birthday, made dietary adjustments so smoothly. And in the end, he went the extra mile personally to be a part of one of the best birthdays I've had. :) The food, even as take out ,was delicious and fresh and delightfully presented. Thank you Anand and team for being part of a...

As others have said, great sushi restaurant. You can tell the freshness of the sushi by the depth in colour and non-fishy smell. Definitely rivals some of the Japanese restaurants in Vancouver. Ordered the Kaisen don (not sure why its not called the Chirashi don but no matter). Again, sushi was extremely fresh, and the portion was adequate. You're not going to get this quality of sushi for this price point if you're looking for quantity. One minor issue I had was how hot the tea was. It was so hot that the cup was too hot to handle, almost burning my fingers (even holding at the rim). If I have to pay $3.50 for the tea, then at least serve it so I can drink it without burning my fingertips!
