As a butter chicken lover I have something to say. This Butterica ‘trademarked’ gravy/sauce tastes dangerously similar to the KFI Butter Chicken Sauce available at grocery stores.

I am not a fan of either cuz both have that distinct strong taste of cardamom that overshadows the rest of sauce. A butter chicken gravy is supposed to be very balanced and I couldn’t really taste the ‘smoky’ flavours either.

You guys should maybe give your chicken a dip in the tandoor too to make it better and more original, and please easy with the cardamom! Their Naan, isn’t exactly a naan. It’s a hybrid between a naan, paratha and roomali roti. But whatever it is, is fantastic, and more than fairly priced - that’s why the 3rd star!

Wouldn’t necessarily order from here again unless their sauce becomes more palatable! A good butter chicken gravy is from this place called Tahn Door in Coquitlam. I wish they’d put their chicken in a tandoor too but the gravy...

I've tried the butter chicken wrap, and the butter chicken bowl. I hadn't tried butter chicken with veggies before, and tbh I was skeptical at first, but the wrap was so freaking good I got 3/4 of the way through it before remembering there was extra butter chicken sauce in a container! And omg the sauce! So good. Couple days later I tried the bowl. The sauce was a less thick but it also came with optional veggies and I was all in on the veggies this time, and it was aaaawesome! You know how most places bulk up the wraps or bowls with way to much rice so it's mostly rice with a hint of everything else? The wrap had just a little bit of rice, and the bowl actually had none it was all delicious chicken and sauce and it wasn't a small portion. I think next time I'll ask if I can add a scoop of rice to soak up the sauce, definitely found my new butter chicken...

If I’m at the Quay, this is definitely my go-to food spot! My kids absolutely love the combo chicken curry, and my personal favorite is the biryani chicken—I’ve been hunting for a good biryani for so long, and this awesome resto is right beside our building! It’s not quite the same as Singapore, but the flavors are delicious, portions are filling, and the customer service is always great. Perfect for both family meals and quick cravings. Highly recommend! 👍 P.S. I couldn’t snap a photo of the chicken curry—it was gone before I realized. That’s how...

Wasn't expecting too much from a food court restaurant, but wow, my punjabi socks were blown off! Ordered every type of parantha, salted lassi, mango lassi, chai and raita and could have wept tears of joy at the authentic flavours and exact right choice of achaar (pickles) and seasoning for everything. Paranthas were FULLY stuffed, I could have been India. I ordered nine more for take out, for a road trip to Calgary, and everything including dishes and utensils were packed to make that roadside pullout snack a breeze. Just go.

There’s a new king of fries in the quay! Finally tried out Butterica. OMG it’s my new favourite comfort food. Fries were perfectly crispy and the butterica sauce is remarkable. It’s a butter chicken sauce but a bit more black pepper (and on the menu they call it butterica sauce) Guy running the shop was friendly and I definitely hope more people try their stuff! We had the samosa’s without the butterica sauce but it’s clear they were intended to be had with it. I think there was paneer in the samosa’s too!
