Yesterday, I stumbled upon a charming little café called Ma Station just outside Quebec City. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Freshly baked croissants mingled with the rich aroma of coffee. I decided to order a London Fog and found a cozy corner. My drink arrived promptly, served with a smile by the friendly barista.

Just as I was savoring my drink, the door swung open, and in walked a very handsome T-Rex. He greeted me with a friendly nod and made his way to my table. We order two golden, buttery croissants. Despite his intimidating appearance, he had a gentle demeanor and a keen interest in sharing breakfast.

We spent the next hour enjoying our treats, the T-Rex delicately nibbling on his croissant while we chatted about everything from the weather to the best spots to visit in Quebec. This café is a hidden gem, offering not just incredible drinks and pastries but also the promise of delightful surprises and memorable moments. As I look back on my way out, I saw the T-Rex...

Wow, what a wonderful cafe! Randomly found this place when searching for a breakfast spot. We usually don’t order espresso based drinks at a breakfast spot (it’s difficult in my opinion to do a single thing well, much less 2) but after seeing the owner prepare a latte, we decided to get a latte and an americano and were definitely not disappointed. The owner had a great knowledge of espresso and really knew how to prepare a good drink. We ended up even buying the espresso beans! On top of that, our table ordered a smoked salmon bagel, a sweet waffle (the strawberry one) and a couple of savory ones (le dejeuner) and they were incredible. Portion sizes were great and every component of the waffle from the waffle base itself to the toppings were flavorful and delicious. The owner himself was engaged and friendly. If you want a great espresso based drink or a great breakfast, definitely check...

Service ☆☆☆☆☆ Staff is super friendly! Love them. Location ☆☆☆☆ A bit outside of the touristic area (worth it though), but well placed for locals. Deco ☆☆☆☆ Quite simple, nothing extraordinary. They have bean bags where you can sit in their front window! Perfect to chat with your friends. Drinks & Food ☆☆☆☆☆ Hmmm, yes please! Huge breakfast waffles and healthy food. I always get the salmon bagel (like three times a week - oops) and I can't get enough of it. Their coffee is really good. Ditch your regular Starbucks (no tea no shade) and support this local coffee shop. Schedule ☆☆☆ Opening hours could be improved. Not sure if it's because they are low-staff, but they close...

Came across this quant Cafe. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. Tables filled with families, friends, and individuals. A guy was playing his guitar while having a coffee. I had an orange juice, a latte, and a butter croissant. Spent $13, with tip included! The orange juice hit the spot. The latte felt like home. The croissant was perfectly crisp and buttery. The staff were so friendly. My French is horrible. They noticed the struggle and spoke to me in English. Much appreciated after a night of drinking. I highly recommend it!

The place and style are amazing, it's really nice to spend time there. Not only because of the drinks and food, but the experience is very comfortable and cozy. The people who serve are so kind and respectful, it's nice to enter a place like that and have them recognize you and start to remember your tastes. Also, people regularly sit at the piano and start playing or singing, have a coffee there and read or do another activity while you come across a scene like that, it makes everything more loving somehow. I love the place!
