LOVED this place. Came here twice in Feb 2024, had the 12 or 14 pcs chefs choice and I loved everything. Most places I’ve gone to - Vancouver, Montreal anywhere really - tend to include a few “simple” rolls like California or one of the maki rolls (just cucumber or just tuna) in a combo platter - it’s cheaper and less time consuming for them to make. But in my experience this place use only what are normally considered the “deluxe” rolls for their chefs’ choice platter. Umami heaven. I just loved everything. I think I took twice as long as usual to savour everything, haven’t done that in a long time. I only wish Montreal had a place like this. Service is super friendly too! I highly recommend the chefs plate, go for 12 or 14 to get a variety.

Great sushi, great place, great service every time. I've come here twice in the past year when I come to Quebec City. It's a must for me now, especially since the small town where I live doesn't have any good sushi at all. The chef is incredibly skilled with pairing seafood and vegetables and rice in the maki or the poke bowls that my friends ordered this time. Each time, we scarf down our amazing meal here. Wish I took pics last time! But these photos from yesterday's visit will have to do. I HAD to review it. So glad that Quebec City has such a wonderful sushi place (even friends from the coastal cities of Canada who know goooood sushi loved it all!) and we have been met with such kind and bilingual service every time.

Really friendly host, prompt service and delicious food. If you don’t speak French the menus are double sided and straightforward. Was apprehensive about ordering sushi from non-Japanese chefs in old Quebec City of all places, but it was well worth it. Had the miso soup, delicious and nice pieces of seaweed and tofu, along with the Poké tuna and snow crab Poké bowls (tuna and the veggies were fresh and mango was sweet. Though I’d pass on the snow crab as it was $3 extra and a bit bland), and the 15 pieces of chefs choice maki (delicious highly recommend, there was something different about the tuna maki (I think it was) I haven’t had a roll that tasted like that before it was herb-y in...
