Very cute little cafe close by my workplace and I had no idea! I came in one early afternoon on a day off and it was just a nice cozy place to spend a cold winter day. I had a matcha latte with their 3-cheese grilled sandwich. The interior was decorated beautifully and had a chill vibe to it. You could also see the view of the vast mountains off in the distance. Highly recommend you check out this gem of a place!

We popped in after a quick detour from our original eatery choice. Warm, woody interior and you order first, then pick your table. We chose outside, as it was a stellar day ☀️. The special ran out and unfortunately there was nothing on the menu that I was remotely interested in. The menu was mostly Greek . So I went with the last sandwich from a pre-made caterer's fridge. It was delish!

We came to The Den on Canada Day. The line was long, but customers looked happy so we just waited our turn. We got a coffee, a matcha, a Canadian Caesar, and a Naked Fox IPA. We sat inside where was a bit warmer. The staff were so nice and the room was cozy. They have a little library and board game selection. You could spend hours in here. You’ll love it. I recommend it.

A Hidden Gem for Coffee and Snacks in Quesnel!

If you're passing through Quesnel or live nearby, this spot should absolutely be on your radar. Hands down, it’s the best place in town for quality coffee and snacks. I stopped in for brunch and was blown away by the combination of great food, friendly service, and an inviting atmosphere.

First, let's talk coffee. Their specialty coffees are some of the best I’ve had—smooth, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re a latte lover or prefer something bold like an Americano, there’s something for every coffee enthusiast. They even offer local twists and seasonal specials that are worth trying.

The food menu is equally impressive. I had the grilled cheese, and it was phenomenal—crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and served with a side of fresh local ingredients that made it feel like more than just your average sandwich. Their selection of local treats, from baked goods to grab-and-go snacks, is a nice touch, showcasing some of the region's best producers.

The atmosphere is another highlight. It’s warm, cozy, and beautifully designed—whether you’re meeting a friend, getting some work done, or just enjoying a quiet moment, you’ll feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure you’re well taken care of. They clearly care about creating a welcoming environment, and it shows.

Price-wise, it’s very reasonable. For CA$10–20 per person, you get excellent food and drink in a setting that feels far more upscale than the price tag suggests. The value is unbeatable for what you receive.

If you’re in Quesnel, this is the spot to check out for quality coffee, amazing snacks, and top-notch service. Whether you’re dining in or just grabbing something quick, you won’t be disappointed! Highly...

this is the worst place I've ever been to!! the food is disgusting the coffee is gut wrenching I by far DO NOT recommend eating here and the prices are out the roof for what you get it's ridiculous save your money people it's not worth spending on over priced food and drinks that you can buy and make at home for more and it would be alot cheaper and to be honest it would taste better compared to the microwaved food and dishes that are washed in grey water absolutely disgusting!!! And being fired for being pregnant is...

Great coffee and tea. Licensed, so we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine on the patio. The A/C works well if you want a cool retreat in hot weather, and the patio is nice if you want to sit outdoors. The cool food available in the fridge is nice, especially the citrus salad. We also tried the lasagna, and it was pretty fantastic. Chicken and ricotta filled and layered with good noodles. Excellent light dinner.

Limited seating available, and I'm told food sells out quickly at lunch so go early...
