CHACHI'S — Restaurant in Red Deer

I have had two sandwhiches here now. I didn't care for the first and figured I would give it another try with the breakfast sandwhich since I absolutely adore all things breakfast. I was sorely disappointed.... again. I've had McDonald's sandwhiches that were less greasy. The dill sauce was lacking, the toastwas heavily buttered before frying and the egg was nasty. It tasted processed and felt stiff instead of soft. I didnt even taste the meat over the strong cheddar. The sandwhich easily soaked through 5 napkins with grease and has left the area around my mouth red and irritated.

And for anyone who was wondering the first sandwhich I had was a chicken one and it was bland. The chicken had no flavor and was an easily forgotten sandwhich. I will not be back. Especially considering the sandwhiches are at least $7 each. Im going...

$18.90 "Peach lemonade" more like lemon crystals in water that don't even taste like peach. Hot Philly sandwich an astonishing $12.00 for no sides, the drink was separately paid for which was $3.00. For a gluten free bun it was another $2.00, which on its own is understandable because the bun itself costs so much. The sandwich was a bad combination of thick green peppers, a weirdly placed mildly spicy sauce and a chunk of tasteless meat. The drink has a lid that crushes the straw so you can't even drink it. What an AMAZING place to eat! Not only do they’re use ONLY LOCAL INGREDIENTS but they’re very personable, they remember your face, and their portions are more than enough to fill even my bottomless gut! Chachi’s should be commended for doing what so many other restaurants claim to be too difficult - they provide fresh, healthy, plentiful meals that are locally sourced, and great quality!
