A cozy spot with a relaxing atmosphere

We came to this café for a bite and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I noticed a couple of customers ordering soup — I didn’t try it myself (not really a fan), but it made me wonder if it might be one of their specialties.

I had the Turkey Havarti sandwich and really liked it — it was warm, toasted, and the cheese was deliciously melted. The mocha was also very good: foamy, flavorful, and just the right size for my taste.

I went with my husband, and he had the roast beef sandwich and a mocha. His take: ”Great atmosphere, great mocha, good service, my sandwich (roast beef) however good lacked a bit of zip.

Overall, we both had a nice time. I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere, drinks, and service, and 4 stars for the food — mainly because of my husband’s comment. Still, it’s definitely a place I’d happily return to...

Ordered an Americano this morning. Was charged $3.75. An Americano is just espresso with hot water. They sell an espresso for $3. When asked why I was charged 75 cents for water I was told by the clerk "that's the way it is" and to go "down the street to Tim Hortons". Don't waste coins on a parking meter downtown, take this clerks advice and go to Tim Hortons.

Also, the coffee is bland. A wholly disappointing experience from a first time customer.

The response from the owner which came four months after this incident occured - stated: "I know that our staff would never respond to you that way". It would appear that the best remedy for this company's sub par service and poor policies, is to call the customer a liar.

Further, espresso with water is an Americano or a Long Black...not a Canadiana. Does the owner know much about...

This is a great place to go to when you are up for a unique cafe experience! The menu is HUGE there is something for everyone! Smoothies, Italian soda, cremosa, soup, sandwiches, sweet treats, gluten free options, and of course different roasts! They have a neat roaster in the building you can check out! There's always room for seating here, never has been too noisy, and they showcase local artworks! Their seasonal drinks are unique and you gotta come in every month to see the new selection! Fresh goodies, kind staff, clean cafe, nice location...
