3 months after placing a delivery order, I am still fighting to get a refund for food I never received. I placed a food order for a work meeting for myself and my coworkers through Uber Eats. After 40 minutes, our food arrives. Well an order of pancakes arrived. Call the restaurant to let them know that I was missing most of my order. The manager on duty tells me that the server who handed out the order the order forgot the other bag and that I could come pick it up if I wanted to. I couldn't do that because I was about to walk into a meeting. So because I wasn't willing to go pick it up myself, I was told I would have to contact Uber and ask for a refund. Well 3 months later and 5 support tickets in, I have still not received a refund. So I have paid $72 for an order of pancakes. While they were nice and fluffy, they were not worth $72 and the time I have wasted trying to get this resolved. The lack of care from both Phil's and Uber Eats has left a lot to be desired. The bag was not marked, the manager didn't seem to care to fix the situation and as the consumer, I am left paying for something I never received. This could have all been resolved if the restaurant would have taken accountability for their mistake (that they admitted to) and arranged to have my delivery sent out. If you are not willing to label your orders and make sure the customer receives what they have paid for, why participate in delivery programs. The driver did his part and picked up what he was handed. It is Phil's that made the error and left the customer without...

I was so excited to go to Phil’s as I haven’t been since I was a kid and it was just a terrible experience. The server lady (don’t know her name as no one in this place wears name tags) who we had asked my boyfriend if he would like a drink and he said “no thanks just water” and as I was about to Order what I wanted she walked away. Then it took her 15 mins to come back to take our order and I asked for the drink I wanted and she didn’t even apologize and just wrote it down as if people get drinks with their meal. When she did bring it she had gross yellow ciggarette stains on her hands she was carrying my cup in and I didn’t even want to drink it. She eventually brought us our food which was amazing (the only reason this review even should get the 1 star) and she never came back to the table afterwards. Im assuming she was like 60 because she looked it and everything took her forever to do and she had poor hygeine. Probably won’t be...

Breakfast of warm apple & cinnamon crepes was excellent and made me cry. Here's why. I wanted to treat myself to breakfast because that's my favorite meal. When I saw crepes on the menu, I was sold. My waitress was sweet and efficient. When she brought the water, she took my order; no waiting. My crepes and two over-medium eggs were perfectly cooked. When it was time to leave, I told the waitress how yummy my meal was and how my mom used to make crepes for us. Then without bidding, I burst into tears. Mom passed away in 2021 and this breakfast brought back all the wonderful memories of her pfannenkuchen und Apfelmus (low German for flat pancakes with applesauce). The service, food, cleanliness, and atmosphere were all great! My waitress even put a senior discount on my bill and I didn't have to ask. Highly recommend.

For twenty years I have been passing this place and always wondered what the service or food was like. Today my curiosities have been laid to rest as I had one of the best breakfast dining experiences of my life. This eatery puts others to shame with its warm service and hot scrumptious meals. I cannot wait to explore the lunch options at a further time, I know that I won't be disappointed.

My kid will tell you that he loved loved loved the chocolate chip pancakes. The food was so good. I had a hot sandwich with the burger - the meat tasted so fresh and good. The turkey rice soup was so delicious and nice to have rather than fries. My spouse got the open-faced western sandwich. Beautiful little spot to stop on the way to Edmonton.
