My boyfriend and I stopped here to get some baking after hearing from friends that they have really great stuff. We purchased 6 cinnamon buns, a peach pie and 6 ultimate butter tarts with raisins. We really enjoyed the cinnamon buns and the peach pie had a very delicious flaky pastry, but the tarts were inedible. I’m not sure if this is how they were meant to be, but trying to bite into them was very difficult and the filling felt like super glue sticking to our teeth. It was impossible to bite through the tart because of how caramelized, sticky and hard the filling was. It's like walking into my mother's kitchen after getting home from school. Something amazing was baking and every item I looked at on the bakery racks were absolutely something I love. Ended up getting a banana loaf, jam cookies, cookies for my office, and a currant scone for the road.

The owner hoped that I wouldn't be disappointed, and I knew with such certainty that I wouldn't be. And I wasn't. Don't tell my mother, but I don't know if I've ever had a scone so perfect in my life. Golden brown bottom, just the right amount of buttery flakiness, an even distribution of currants...I had no idea I would find a bakery and baked goods that made me feel like being young and at home again....

Hi Baba, If you had messenger I would not post this here but send a direct contact.. We used to wait excitedly to get your pumpkin pies every holiday. The ones we got yesterday were not good. The crusts were not your usual flaky thin soft ones. They were broken and burnt and rubbery. The filling was not tasty at all. I was ashamed to serve them last night. And for $15.00 per pie, we will not be getting them again. We would only consider paying that price if they were like they used to be. I have one left to take to my mom’s nursing home tomorrow, but will certainly go out today and find one to take I can be proud of.
