A quaint atmosphere with amazing food!! This restaurant is located inside a 100 year old home with amazing wood detail in most of the rooms. They have a ramp to enter into the building and THANK YOU for offering a GREAT selection of high and lower tables, for someone in a wheelchair to sit at. It is hard to find that nowadays at your cookie cutter, big box franchises. The staff are amazing! So friendly and very good at assisting you with the menu as it all looks so good it was hard to decide. The portions you receive here are large and more than worth the price you pay. And you are getting real food prepared fresh. There is a reason this place is packed!! The atmosphere is enjoyable and the people around you ( i am from out of town ) are also friendly and will include you in conversation if you are willing. The food was go good my friend and I went there two night in a row for supper. It is in a great central location and easy to get to. Great drink selection as well. Great selection of starters and mains. Pasta, Chicken, Lamb, Steak and fish. First night we had the appie special which was the deep fried brie cheese with bread and crackers and a side of peppered jelly. I am going to try to copy this recipe, it was amazing. I eat brie weekly and enjoyed it thoroughly! They used the entire wheel on the plate, not half or a few bits. Two of us could not finish it. And their bread was so good. We wanted an order of just the bread! The second night we needed sustenance: I ordered the Athenian Chicken with feta cheese and lemon butter and my friend had the Black and Blue chicken. Hands down the best chicken dishes I have ever had. Their risotto side is to die for. Perfectly done and a huge portion. The side veg on the plate was a great portions and cooked perfectly and so good.

Very friendly and helpful staff for my first time in Regina and in this restaurant. I ordered based on the recommendation of the waitress and an elderly local lady looking familiar with the bistro. I had the seafood chowder, with side of Cajun fries (I had to try), with a glass of Canadian pino grigio (white wine). I enjoyed the chowder very much (my first ever). It was very tasty. The fries had a bit too much of the spice mix for my liking (pass my saturation point), but the flavour was nice and they were crispy. The local wine was very nice. The waitress gave me the history of the pub (I was interested). I would go there again.

In the past I’ve enjoyed the Fireside Bistro but was super disappointed with the last delivery order I received. I had ordered a burger and salad and the burger I received was so overcooked and burnt it just fell apart on the bun and literally tasted like charcoal. It was really awful… Ok, no problem, mistakes happen, but when I tried to call the restaurant, no one answered. I tried twice, left my name and number and why I was calling yet to this day no one has ever bothered to call me back. It would have been so easy for them to send out another burger but instead I ended up with a small salad for supper. I eventually got skip to refund my money but the fact that no one at the Fireside bothered to call to make it right or even apologize is really terrible customer service.

I was staying in Regina for work and a server from a different restaurant recommended Fireside for brunch (Sat & Sun only I believe) and let me tell you this place was AMAZING 🔥 Staff were friendly, the place was comfortable and homey, food came quick and the PORTIONS - my god! I ordered the classic eggs benny (pictured) and it was giant (got to save half for later!). The hollandaise was incredible and THESE HASH BROWNS. Let me tell you, they were perfectly crispy outside and literal clouds inside. 11/10 would recommend. I will definitely be returning to try out more of their menu!
