Joey's Fish Shack - Regina Albert Park — Restaurant in Regina

These people have NO IDEA on how to manage a Restaurant properly and efficiently. The WORST a person could experience waiting to be served in this Restaurant, it took 35 minutes for the waitress to bring our drinks, It took a Hour and 30 minutes just have our Fish and chips brought to us after asking several times why the wait? The waitress said not enough staff, and not enough cooks, too many orders to keep up. The extended wait time and lack of attention from the Staff made for a very frustrating and disappointing experience. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant and would advise others to be prepared for potentially a very LONG WAIT TIME, and Neglectful service if you call NO SERVICE a Service! The food is fabulous and they are excellent at preparing it, but this is my third time I've felt completely invisible. We were seated in a timely fashion and promptly never checked on. Yes, we were waiting for a third person but I have never been anywhere that didn't ask if I wanted a drink or an appetizer while we waited. Over 20 minutes and no one asked. The table next to us was seated and asked for a drink as soon as they were seated. Please explain how so many things that I've always experienced at a multitude of restaurants suddenly don't happen here. Worst time to go to Joey's on a Good Friday. We waited 60 minutes, told it would be another 30-35 minutes before we got our meal. The staff is so disorganized, and were scrambling around doing nothing included getting orders out to the customers. It was like they don't have enough staff, cooks, or the capability to serve more than a couple of people every 20 minutes or so. A real disappointing experience and would have gave them even less than one star if I could have given a zero or negative value.
