I heard great things about this brand, so I decided to visit. I ordered Chhole Bhature. The size of the bhature is good, but it tastes weird. It is not the standard taste of bhature that you get elsewhere. I am not sure, but I never had bhature taste so bad like this. The Chhole sabji was ok, but it was full of garam masalas. The authenticity of chhole was missing here. They randomly put some hot spices and chhole together, and labelled them as a chhole dish. The pickle container was almost empty, and when I requested the server to top up the pickle container, she even asked me to finish the container entirely, then she would top up. The pickle was almost dried up and visibly old. I had to request again to add fresh pickle, then she reluctantly filled up the pickle container. She was not happy with my request. They put 3-5 tiny narrow strips of onions to show that they are providing salad. But that's a joke. They have 2 washrooms, and one was out of order, and the other was not as clean as we see in other restaurant brands such as McDonald's, Burger King or Pizza Hut. The music was too loud for me to even hear the voice in my head. I wonder what makes them decide to play at such a high volume. I was alone, but I saw a few other groups, and they literally had to talk in a louder voice, it's almost like from the top of their lungs. Such a horrible place if you are going in a couple or a group. You won't be able to have a pleasant conversation with your friends and family. The songs had depressing and aggressive lyrics. Not a good place for good emotions. The paper napkins were missing, and when I almost finished my food, one of the servers came to put some paper napkins. I did not try other dishes, so I can't comment on them. The staff was least interested in serving customers with care and a smile. It looked like they were just waiting to complete their shifts. However, I purchased Rasmalai and packed it for my family. They really liked it. So, I would recommend this item. But apart from that, I do not recommend this place. Do not get impressed with the brand name. It has been a...
Read moreTHE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. We went in on sunday around 6PM for pickup and wanted to try some of the sweets on display too. The lady at the till came to get our order, we asked for mix and match, she starts saying they do minimum 1LB (which she later claimed she didnt say and that i didnt understand what she said). We started picking our sweets and within a second she gets impatient and goes to tell us how many we can pick and then says “you have to pick sweets from one side first, is that okay”. Blatant show of impatience and incompetence in basic use of communication when we were trying to pick our order. Then i aks if it is an LB yet and she smugly says “this isnt even half lb, do you want me to get half lb”. She never let us know that we “had to pick two sweets each”, she says minimum is 1lb when they also have half lb and then says she “showed” me the various sizes! If you are impatient you should keep to yourself. If you cannot even ask if your customer is new to your store and refuse to help and start telling them what they can and cannot order, it leaves a sour taste and a very bad experience. When i raised concerns she goes on to say “you have to listen to me also”. You have to learn to listen to your customer’s concerns before running to defend yourself. Like i said “YOU NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING” more than anything. Start telling your customers upfront what they should and “can’t” order, and work on your poilteness instead of being smug in their faces. Please leave your manager’s number as a reply and spare yourself any explaination. If you are the manager, stop manning the desk, get yourself some training and...
Read moreI visited Gwalia Sweets and Restaurant yesterday (August 19, 2025), and it was such a delightful experience—I had to share! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, inviting ambiance and tasteful decor—it felt cozy and authentically charming—just as others have noted Wanderlog . The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely made me feel welcome. Now, let’s talk food. Every dish was crafted with care and flavor. The menu has such a wonderful range—from savory bites to delectable sweets. Favorites like the Executive Thali, Amritsari Kulche with Chole, Bigg Boss Sandwich, and chaat options like Aloo Tikki and Ragda Pani Puri showcased the breadth of their offerings Restaurantji Wanderlog . I had an Executive Thali, and the authentic, balanced combination of paneer, sabji, dal, rice, naan, salad, and a sweet dessert was outstanding. The sweets were equally impressive—rich, indulgent, and infused with tradition. Nex t time, I can’t wait to sample more from their dessert selection Gwalia Sweets . What also stood out was the consistency: while some places do well only sometimes, here the food arrived hot and fresh—something multiple reviewers—and delivery ratings—have praised Uber Eats Wanderlog . In short: a fantastic dining experience all around—great flavors, superb service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for dining in, takeout, or delivery. I’ll definitely...
