Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Regina

My friend and I were visiting Regina from Vancouver, BC and decided to grab a sub sandwich because we hadn’t had Mr. Sub in a while. When we saw one, we got excited and stopped in. The place was empty, so we thought it would be a quick, easy stop to satisfy our munchies. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out that way.

After ordering, we were already a bit let down by the sandwich, which were poorly made with very little filling. However, the real issue came when I asked for the bathroom key. Only to find out there was no toilet paper. I kindly asked for some, and the employee shocked me with, “You need it now?” To which I responded, “Yes! I do!” My friend and I were even more surprised when she replied, “We don’t have any!” I ended up using the serviette napkins instead, and when I saw how filthy the bathroom was, I just washed my hands and left.

As my friend finished the sandwich, the employee still hadn’t refilled the toilet paper. My friend had to use the facility and this time, the employee handed her a roll! So suddenly, they had toilet paper? This was incredibly disappointing and made for a very uncomfortable experience.

This is my first-ever 1-star review because I genuinely enjoy supporting businesses, but this situation was too shocking to ignore.

A simple lesson for the staff please: basic cleanliness and ensuring the availability of essential supplies like toilet paper are Not Optional it has to be done.
