Apex Adventureplex is a brand-new facility with a well-thought-out design, and it's a great addition for keeping kids active during the winter months. The games and activities are well-laid-out, offering plenty of fun for children of all ages. The staff are friendly, and customer service was excellent. However, there are a few critical areas that need improvement.
The biggest issue is the entrance layout. Upon entering, everyone is required to remove their boots, which leads to a chaotic and congested area filled with footwear and wet floors. Socks inevitably get soaked, which is both unpleasant and inconvenient, though they do sell grippy socks on-site. Unfortunately, this setup is not only frustrating but also potentially unsafe, particularly for grandparents or anyone needing walking assistance. Navigating through the mess at the entrance could be a real challenge. A redesign of this space is absolutely necessary.
Another concern is the lack of supervision in certain areas. While the facility is designed for children to enjoy, there seems to be a reliance on "children watching children." This leads to kids using equipment incorrectly, roughhousing, and, in some cases, bullying. I personally witnessed smaller children getting hurt by older kids who were "just playing." It's vital for parents to stay vigilant and ensure their children are playing safely and respectfully.
While the overall facility and games are excellent, the entrance chaos and lack of proper supervision tarnish the experience. I urge the management to rethink the entrance setup and to consider additional staff oversight in the play areas to ensure a safer environment for all children.
For now, I’d recommend coming prepared—bring grippy socks, consider renting a locker, and keep a close eye on your kids to make the most...
Read moreThe facility is excellent, we have been here 3 times since they opened one week ago. Unfortunately, this time will be out last. I attended with my 4 year old daughter all three times and this last time, an older woman/employee was supervising the trampoline area. This woman informed me that I was not allowed to support my 4 year old in any way on the trampolines, I cannot help her jump, cannot help her up on anything, stating “if she can’t do it by herself she shouldn’t be here”. My 4 year old is very capable and has a blast here each time, but she does require some help in having fun. She was absolutely not polite about it either, she was incredibly rude. Additionally, the first 2 times we were here we did nothing different than we did this time but for some reason, it wasn’t allowed this time. Don’t allow in 4 year olds if you aren’t going to allow their parent (who paid to jump with them TO help them) help them. We have never had this problem at any other trampoline park in Canada, and definitely will be going to Get Air from now on instead. Their prices are way better too! Spent $50 here for neither of us to be able to actually enjoy it. Reading other reviews, this seems to be the common consensus. Lastly, she seemed to be targeting only me and my child as she observed others doing the same things, unsafe acts, other children double bouncing my 4 year old, and she did nothing to stop any of it and only seemed concerned about what we were doing. I don’t know what her vendetta was with us, but it’s a shame that this one person is ruining an experience that would be...
Read moreMy child went to Apex and when he was done the hour, his nice shoes were nowhere to be seen. No compensation, no apology when I called. The general manager spoke down to me and was unwilling to do anything. She told me not to bother filing a police report, because it wouldn't do anything. Also, she told me it was my child's fault that they didn't lock up shoes in a locker. They need to come up with a better system such as shoe check (Dino bouncers had this when they were open). It seems quite lazy and a bit of a money grab not to pay attention to the security of clients when you are charging a hefty amount. I would proceed with caution if you are going there. It is also overstimulating for some people, so proceed with caution should you choose to go there and lock up your shoes! Overall an unsatisfactory experience when your child leaves shoeless... if I could give zero...
