I am a regular at the Odd Burger in Edmonton. Yesterday, on a car trip to Manitoba, my wife and I stopped by the Regina location for a late lunch. It turns out we came during Happy Hour, and an assortment of menu items were available for just $5.00 each! With the $1.00 ice cream for dessert, we were both able to eat a delicious and filling meal for just $12.00. This is an amazing deal, and we would have spent over triple that amount if we ate lunch at any of the other vegan restaurants in Regina. I asked how often Odd Burger has Happy Hour, and they said it was Monday-Friday from 2:00 - 5:00, and again from 8:00 - 9:00. Apparently the later time has more dessert items in the selection. With the amazing happy hour pricing, I made sure to buy another three burgers and a poutine on my way out to feed me upon arrival in rural Manitoba! I also bought the frozen ChickUn Pretenders, as they are not available at the Edmonton location for some reason.
In our future road trips to Manitoba, we will definitely be stopping in at the Regina Odd Burger to...
Read moreKind staff & nice modern atmosphere! It was clean, the seating was good and we liked the kiosk system. I feel like the price could've been a few dollars cheaper for what we got. I ended up paying Five Guys prices for a McDonalds quality burger.
We tried the preposterous burger, the wingalings, and the Greek fries. The burger was almost completely tasteless, and the patties were really soft with almost no bite to them. It tasted almost completely seasoned, so it didn't taste bad... It was just weird biting into the "meat" and tasting almost nothing. The rest of the burger tasted alright though, 4/10. The Greek fries were pretty good!! The meat actually had some flavour to it. 6/10. The wingalings were really tough & had a weird taste.. the worst item we ordered by far. The Korean sesame sauce wasn't great either. 3/10.
As far as vegan imitations go, it was decent! But as far as food goes, it was pretty bad. The health benefits & vegan appeal might be enough to justify it for some people,...
Read moreNormally I would never suggest going to an all vegan reasturant for lunch with my wife, although we both have been talking about trying to make healthier food choices, and are never closed minded when it comes to food. I was craving a frie supreme from taco bell but refused to spend the rest of the day and evening regretting that decision and saw that they were one the menu. I figured why not and my wife agreed to the idea, and let me tell you. It was soo good!! Way better than taco bell, and the fact that is was 100%, vegan blew me away. I believe that we will both be back to try other menu options that also sound delicious. Great friendly service for 2 people that were obviously out of place starring at the menu, the staff member on hand today was very helpful and wonderful to deal with. My wife was also very thrilled to see that the washrooms were all gender inclusive! Excellent servulice and atmosphere, with fantastic food. Can't wait...
